After submitting my TM30 registration around 2 months ago and still not update on application status, I'm not expecting anything and dont want to take the trouble reporting in person everytime I come back from overseas trip.
Does anyone knows if the IO will check all your past TM30 reports during visa extension or only the latest one?
I have plans to go overseas a few times until my next extension.

Stay in Thailand, don't go overseas. Thailand doesn't welcome you. Only your money.

Ah, that would cost more than the tax deducted. Will give them a call first.Go to the branch you opened the account at. -
Just curious, you went to the branch you opened account or any other branch would do? Don't want to waste my time travelling and calling as I doubt anyone speaks English. BKK bank call center told me to contact Rev Dept directly and I doubt anyone speaks English or even bother to pickup the phone.

It is now true under the new Thai revenue dept rule that went in effect around Apr/May 2019.
If you are coded in the bank's system as a "Thai citizen and a resident" there is no automatic withholding on Bt20K or less interest earned; but go above Bt20K interest earned on a regular savings account and 15% withholding tax on interest earned is applied.
But if you are a "foreigner and a resident" the 15% tax withholding on interest earned is automatic on any amount earned...whether above or below Bt20K interest per year, UNLESS, you have your Thai tax ID number on file with the bank. With your Thai tax ID number onfile there is no tax withholding on a regular savings account if earning Bt20K or less interest per year...but you are taxed above Bt20K interest. Basically you are now treated just as if your were a Thai.
Above is per my face-to-face conversations with Krungsri Bank and Bankgok Bank where I have accounts. Both told me the same thing. And both have stopped the tax withholding after I provided my Thai tax ID number.
Thanks for the clarification. Maybe I had not informed them my tax id when opening my account.
I told the bank counter that I'm working and paying tax here but was told foreigners are all treated the same so I guess its the same for national park entry fees.
Do you think they will refund the witholding tax after I told them my tax Id?
its only 250B and I dont want to take the trouble and waste time with these leeches.

My tm30 online application still waiting after 2 months.

I had same witholding tax deduction from my BKK bank and went to check with bank. They told me 20,000B treshold only applies to Thai national. Foreigners need to pay full amount regardless of savings interest. Can anyone confirm this?

More paperwork, more regulations = more money for them.Yes, which is ridiculous because we have already given them our home address on the TM6 form upon returning to Thailand. This is how jobs are created in Thailand. Make things more complicated so everyone gets involved and earn their living.

Has anyone had any recent success using online registration for Bangkok? I submitted my application six weeks ago and have had zero response.
Submitted mine nearly 2 months ago, still pending. Not expecting them to update so they can happily collect more fines and cause inconvenience to people.

Flexible working hours are not suitable for Thais. They can no longer give excuses being late for work and nothing else to blame for delays.

No noise pollution. Noise is part of Thai DNA.

No its not. Its overcrowded most of the time especially peak hours. Operating costs is not high as these operators are making lots of profit.

Stop wasting papers and messengers. That would much better for Thailand.

Planting these flowers are easy. Maintaining their beauty is different thing. That is why Japan and Thailand are different!

Thai Immigration at their finest. Getting people queue and wait. Time has no value here.

Typical Thai. I cannot go from right so I can go from left!

Blame the strong baht! I don't see imported food stuffs getting cheaper and the importers would be laughing with more profits.

Hp mostly provide on site service for its products if its still under warranty. You can check the warranty info.Hi all,
has anybody ever been to an HP Service Center in Bangkok?
I am trying to find the address but the website always tries to send me to Chonburi.
I cannot believe that there is no HP Service Center in Bangkok.
The fan in my HP Laptop is driving me crazy. It makes a constant, unhealthy sound. Seems to me it needs to be replaced.
Thank you very much -

I dont mind wage increase if 1 person job can be done with 1 person, not 3 person. The productivity level is way too low at the moment.
