Best beach imo: Tien beach, 2nd place Monkey beach when it's high tide. But you can explore the whole of Koh Larn in 1 day with a motorbike if you wanted. It's a small island and easy to get around on a scooter. Also it's very quiet now because of no Chinese so even the main beach looks ok. ???? Accomodations, I have no idea, I only go for daytrips. ???? And yes, Use Bolt if you can. Easy and cheap for transportation. Have fun!

Cases are not an important number anymore with Omicron. Who cares if there are millions of cases when almost nobody needs hospitals/ICU's. Most people survive the flu or the common cold also. Better to get Omicron and get a free natural booster for your immune system!

Issue is that there are rumors immigration will not give you an extension if you have paid for a 'dodgy' volunteer visa/extension in your passport. At the moment those 'dodgy' visa's/extensions are not available anymore since the recent change of some head immigration officer in Isaan. What I also heard is that you need a passport change before you can get a new visa/extensions. But as said, this is only from hear saying. To the OP: talk to a good agent if you encounter any troubles or if you are not sure how to proceed and post the outcome. ????

Funny thing: I got some cold symptoms, next day I tested negative. After 3 days my symptoms were gone and I did another test: positive. And yes, I wear a mask, not by choice ofc. Stayed at home until negative. But tbh, looking at Omikron stats, better get it over with fast now it's mild and you get a free immunity boost! Party on! Those who are brainwashed with fear by the media should stay home and lock themselves up. Imo, it passed Pattaya already. And yes, my life and freedom are more important than some old people dying from a disease or old age. People die everyday. Seems like many people have forgotten that.

Had (probably) Omikron. Tested positive after my symptoms were gone. While I had symptoms my test was negative. Had worse colds from dirty aircons than that. Better make hotel aircon cleaning mandatory every 3 months!

Got some cold like symptoms starting on an afternoon last week. Took some vitamins etc and went to bed early. Next morning, symptoms already went down. Went to the pharmacy to get a test. Test was negative. Ordered some more tests from Lazada. 4 days later with 0 symptoms I thought let's do another test. Guess what? Positive. Retested myself to be sure. If I didn't had retested myself I would never have known I even had Covid. I have had far worse colds from air conditioners than this. Time for Omicron to run thrive and provide everyone with a free natural booster.

Those time schedules mean nothing. They leave when full, just like the old days. Just be sure to catch the last one back to Pattaya. ????

Someone I know did a volunteer extension with an agent in Pattaya last week and it was 34k (so this is without the needed conversion!). But as there will be a new head of immigration in Isaan from tomorrow on, all bets are off the table.

Same happened in India and that country is probably the opposite of the UK. In fact it's very simple. These kind of virii propagate until there's an equilibrium of infected and non infected. That's when it starts to drop fast. Lockdowns or stupid measures they only prolong the economic hardship until the equilibrium has been reached. For more information study some statistics and graphs. It's all pretty clear.

I agree, open up would be the best choice. People get sick and/or die all the time. If it isn't from/with Covid, it is from traffic, cancer, hearth strokes, high blood pressure, etc... Easy talking when you are on welfare. Not so easy talking when you need money to survive.
