  1. I got a ticket one day, I tried to bargain. The friend with me was laughing. The cop told me to pay 600 bahts at the police station. So I went to the police station and I said to the cop inside the boot I have to pay 400 bahts fine. So my friend surprised told me "ah you decide how much you want pay"? I replied that I know the price of a ticket and it s certainly not 600, more around 400 and the cop tried to make 200 bahts extra.

  2. I don't want to sound rude or impolite , but some old farangs here in Thailand behave like a child or even like baby .

I see guys licking the lid of their coffee(showing their ugly tongue to everyone) or saying "yami " or imitating the sound of a wolf when they see something expensive, or making immature noise with their mouth. Do they think that people around are amused.?

I saw a farang flossing his teeth at the Tesco food store. That is gross.

Some guys are touching the food with dirty fingers, some guys never clean hands... .( This is why I don't buy unpacked food like croissant.)

Have you seen another example of guys like that?

  3. Did a short visit of Grand Dusit (near jomtien) before a lady stop me to film. Anyway this place has udge long swiming pool of 150 meters. It s still under construction and will be finished in 4 or 6 months.

  4. OP, you been unlucky, that s all. Last time I was in savanakhet and they told me last visa for me.
Now I m in Vientiane and tomorrow I pick up the visa. One day they say ok, one day they say not ok.
Officer had a bad day and wanted to feel useful to Thailand. Sometimes they pick a guy and make you life like hell and whatever you say or do, they will win. Try to enter at another border and avoid savanakhet for a while.

  5. Not sure about Park Lane, but Paradise Park has a private company that manage the Block. Maintenance is great, always painting repairing etc, if something is broken its attended to in a couple of days. Also, you can see regular maintenance being done, such as testing the emergency lighting, flushing out water tanks etc. Staff have regular fire drills.

They recently set up a coin operated laundry in a spare room in the basement. The proceeds go back into the condo funds, as with clean water machines.

Very strict on payment of water and fees etc, instant disconnect of utilities if you are overdue.

The private company makes for a really well run condo block. If they fail they loose the management, great incentive.

And where is your condo? . Luka film and I are coming.
  6. I found her abandonned she was not able to fly, could be attacked by dogs.. Brought her back home and fed her 5x a day with raw chicken and liver. She ate and pooed a lot. Then she start to jump from furniture, and start to fly inside our room. 2 weeks later we let terrasse door open and one day she flew away.

Bye bye Thai owl. I will never forget you.
