You'd be shocked at how many tourists are even bigger losers who fly half way around the world to pour alcohol into a drunk "manager's" gullet. Soi 6 used to be a great place to hang out 10 or more years ago... Now? See above post.

They're "buy me drinkee" men who rely on unsuspecting tourists to ring the bell and pad their commission checks. Ever since NWG has functionally taken over Soi 6 it's turned it into a complete nightmare of hustling, inflated prices, and complete BS. Is what it is, move on to other sois since the pile of bar manager losers which has taken hold isn't going anywhere with an amole supply of willing victims.  

Wife's actions mean little since being a woman (Thai or not) she's only interested in exploiting male labor for her own advantage. 

Hopefully his unstable self rots in Indian jail for a good long while. 

Playing in Pattaya is fine - some of us do it for a living - do not lost sight of the fact that the entertainment is there for money and nothing else.

It's going to depend on the country. In Japan you can (literally) safely eat raw chicken. Their food hygiene and controls are that high. In Thailand, not as much. 

Only "allegiance" is to a Western view of international relations rather than RU/PRC versions. Rest is just a matter of time before I'm able to renounce my primary citizenship and fall back on the secondary (have to make a living after all).

BTW western countries have around 50% divorce rate so that means that 50% of western guys that marry have a failed relationship- pretty much the norm these days.

Some even higher than that... And Thailand is 25%, though I don't think it accounts for "village" marriages. 

It's essentially the same everywhere. Better off renting.

That would be nice but I'm not aware of any projects like this. It's common in other countries with Thai style ownership restrictions.

If you need it explained to you that only condos exist in the FQ then you shouldn't be buying anything at all. 

Buy in the FQ and avoid the gray area - so simple, so easy.
