Stopped me before with my 2 kids I just showed them both passports and birth certificate, and they made a quick phonecall to my wife and let us on our way, it's hit and miss I've never been asked again, you will have no problems, if you want more security take your wife to the airport if immigration ask they can go and see her, good luck

They should have it everywhere at the airport, no bike license don't drive if you do and there's an accident , you will be locked up until you can pay the bill, and no crowd funding allowed your family gets the money or you do somehow!

If she was hit by another bike and it was there fault they should pay, the other ride must have bad injuries also I doubt he or she just got up and drove of on there possibly broken bike

Absolutely she should of been aware her insurance was no good, But also the police should go to the hire shop and close them down and they should be forced to pay a percentage of her fees , as they know what will happen if tourists have accidents and don't have licences, close any shop down immediately and fine them if they rent a bike out to a non licensed rider -
