I crossed at nongkai and got 45 days exempt no problem after 2 years of COVID extensions.I just checked the visa run companies in Pattaya again this morning and they said no problems at the Cambodia border. -

My thinking was if I used a visa run company I'd bypass these problems at the border. -

8 weeks ago I went from Pattaya to nongkai and done a border bounce there.Very long trip but no problems at the border.You could also get the direct bus to mukdahan and do the border bounce there....Im supposed go to Cambodia with the border run company but if the rules have changed it will be back to loas. -

What area is the visa run company your dealing with?As of a few days ago the Pattaya companies said no problems. -

I don't know if something has changed but I've went to a few visa run companies this week and they said no problems doing the Cambodian border run with COVID extensions.. -

Yes with maesai border being closed all the Pai and Chiang Mai crowd are heading to Chiang khong.lets see if it's just this border or all borders. -

The baguette is the first thing on my mind as soon as cross into Laos.Yes there is a few little shops on the right hand side as you cross into laos.The very first shop she does the pate,pork,veg baguettes.I did try to pay for the visa with dollars but they said couldn't take the dollars due to little ink marks on them.Your dollars need to be perfect. -

I did it last month at nongkai,1700 baht for the Laos visa.I sat down on the Laos side for 10 minutes while eating a baguette then straight back in no problem. -

Thanks for the replies.Ive just had a look at the updates for tm30 reporting and it seems to say the owner of the property only needs to register my details 1 time.If I go out and come back within the time frame of the rental contract (6months) that there's no need to do the tm30 again.Does that sound correct?
