    Good genes is more than violent men, and reasons women choose to have babies with those who can give them strong babies that will survive. Not every woman can choose either, and same goes for men. Some have to take what they get, or in exchange for money, protection, status or just for face

    As said, first we need to see their solutions before we argue if it will work or not ???? Im sure you and me could show immigration on our app we paid, and even more easy when they open for vip passenger again.

    I need to work sometimes to make a living in Thailand and also visit family and friends, but Im sure it will only be two times for me this year, and wife one time only as well.

    That could have been the solution required instead of a small departure fee, and equally what europe requires for schengen visa.

    I might come and go 3 times a year, and check in and out a hotel maybe 20 - 30 times or more, depending on how many motorbike trips I make a year. I believe we first have to see their proposed final solution before we can argue how it is going to impact us

    They can require travel insurance or world wide health insurance instead. Problem solved, but I guess the critics would go off completely

    Seriously? Living in Thailand, and I might have 60 days in hotels? And you to burden resorts and hotels to collect the tax? Rhat would be a total chaos out of reach and hands. Prepaid ticket online, web site or app, or at a ticket dispenser before emigration

    you can do something for your health, careful investments, make sure you have friends and maybe someone care for you. You can also make a plan where you want to end up, and Im for sure live in Isan now, but after 70, I will be another place if not hell brake loose and I have to change my plans.

    I was thinking more about health vise, insurance, facilities, and not getting stuck one place where you have no one around you to care and make your last days a bit more comfortable. Spending your last years in missury because you spent all your savings on "fun" as long it lasted without thinking. That takes dicipline, planning and some effort to manage.

    Thats the first thing my mother in law saw at Hua Hin beach in a speedo. Imagine, and hairy as F First time on the beach, and my best guess, she have only seen father in law naked in her whole life

    when everyone else around you is crazy, it is when it gets spooky ????

    in fact just got new glasses, and talked to the optic, and they cancelled the family trip to Thailand this year because what they useally spent on tickets during school holidays, was 3K usd, and now they had to pay almost 10k usd for this summer.

    Where is the scam, read the intention of the plan.

    Less tourists is a good thing if you ask me. I miss covid, and Thais seems to see a bright future in more investments in Thailand giving more work for skilled people as well.

    there will be no healt insurance cover, it is a tax to cover the losses hospitals have from giving medical aid to tourists who do not pay. For you and me, or anyone else, there will not be any cover.

    Well, for us who constantly get reminded in asia related foras, it might be an issue, but as mentionend before, normal tourist do not even think about it. It is not an issue because taxes implemented in tickets is normal world wide at many poplular destinations. The most damaging for Thailands reputation is the smoke and pollution.

    As living in the nordic countries, we have lost several direct flights, and now unless you going more than 20 hours one way, it is double and triple prices compare to before covid. before I could easily get tickets below 20k roundtrip, now 50k and more.

    The only problem I hear by those who frequently come to Thailand for holidays, is the cost of flight Tickets that have tripled, not the tourist tax. No one have even mentioned it.
