American digital nomads that are working remotely outside of the US for a specific period of time can deduct up to 120k on their US taxes. This doesn't work for most forms of passive income though. Nonetheless its possible in some cases to get them off your back for the majority of your federal taxes on regular income except for social security and medicare which you still must pay.

At least Obama tried to make good on his campaign promise to end this Bush legacy. On his second day in office Obama issued an executive order to close Guantanamo down within a year. The right wasn't on board with this plan at all and congress thwarted most of this. Donald Trump also made it clear he apposed it. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/obama-failed-close-guantanamo

At least 59 dead, 150 injured in Seoul Halloween crowd crush
Dust replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
I hope the BlankPink concert I hope to attend next year in Bangkok has none of the same crowding issues. The group has become even more popular since their last visit. -
I brought a Specialized carbon-fiber mountain bike in a quality bike bag for the cool season one year. The bike got stuck in one of my transit countries and had to even tell baggage claim at Savarnabhumi what was in it. The bike arrived the next day and they delivered it right to my condo making it even easier despite the initial stress of it not showing up at baggage claim initially.

There are too many unhelpful replies to your question. When I asked many years ago for recommendations bald people came out of the word-work to try to shame me into just cutting it all off. Most of them get angry when I suggest they do them, and I'll do me. They need to validate their own choice to themselves or something. Anyways, I've had two good experiences at Apex in Thong Lo. It might be a little more expensive than the average here in Thailand but they had some famous thai personalities use their services in the past so I trusted them more. Quite happy with the results 4 years later.

Ever felt you’ve been cheated at a service station

I watched them fill my tank at a Shell station on Monday and pump stopped short of 1600 baht. They squeezed a little more out of it make a it a nicer looking number. They always do that so the total coming out precisely 1000 baht should not be a rare occurrence each day. -
Looking for people in Bangkok who have a mountain bike or might be getting one that might want to meet up to travel to areas outside of Bangkok for downhill and other biking adventures. I have the ability to haul a total of 3 or 4 bikes.

Has anyone used this 23,000 baht colonscopy screening package at Bumrungrad? I'm curious how much total after preop/postop medicine and consultation I would be paying. Thanks. https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/packages/colon-screening

Buying a cost effective SUV for 2022
Dust replied to Optimistictoday's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I test drove the Haval H6 in January at Central Bang Na and it was an enjoyable test drive. You get a lot of tech/safety features for your money. The only deal breaker for me personally was it just felt a little too large for my liking and I just have a harder time judging clearance distances with larger vehicles. Others may find the size a positive. Maybe I should have test drove the smaller Jolien but I ended up buying a low mileage Volvo XC40 plug in hybrid instead that I felt more at home in. -
You may need something bigger but have you looked at the new HRV for this year? Its a hybrid.

Authorities Recommend 3 AstraZeneca Doses to Fight Omicron

Had 2 AZ shots , Pfizer in the US three weeks ago, and then most recently on return to BKK I used a shot of Moderna I had bought in July from Bumgrungrad. Those along with having had the Delta variant and an ICU stay in April I hope will make this variant as mild as possible if we should cross paths. -
Do any versions of MG ZS come with blind spot monitoring? Usually there is some kind of indicator in the side mirrors that lets the driver know there is something in the adjacent lane. Had this on my Mazda CX3 before and it might have saved me from hitting a motorcycle that appeared out of nowhere on my left after had I initially checked that nothing was there.

Any one heard anything as to when the new Ford Ranger announced last month will be available to spec and order in Thailand?

Is the reason for this requirement so that if you aren't coming from an approved country you don't just try to stay in the US for one day and then try to come to Thailand? Does anyone have something official from Thailand that says the same thing? I only want to enter the US for 2 weeks in December.
