stop buying the more expensive processed packaged foods, booze & fags. being poor does not mean having no minimum food & hygiene standards to stay healthy.
SuperCheap clientele are mainly Burmese (as well as the staff by the way). Working for minimum wage at a construction site does not give you many options. If they are lucky enough to actually been paid the minimum wage by their Thai bosses (for you ten others). They know the fresh products are B-quality compared to Thai local markets but no, they do not have a real choice. Besides they are not here to improve their own lives, they are here to send as much money as possible back home month after month.

"we may need to have an entry fee for some natural tourist attractions". Great idea. Enter a beach or go visit Big Buddha, free for Thais and 300 Baht for foreigners. This will generate billions to fund the struggling taxi and tuk-tuk drivers. Win win because there will be tuk-tuk's around again to take the tourists back to their hotels for 500 Baht.

Always reminds me of a post that hits the nail on the head. I quote an unknown poster: "Do not remind me constantly that I am a guest in this country. I promise that I start behaving like a guest the very same day the Thais start behaving like hosts".

Many other countries are showing interest in this approach, as the potential benefit seems to outweigh any potential harm.... What's to lose in this madhouse environment?
Had a Sinovac jab two weeks ago, and will have an AstraZeneca jab next week. Will let you know if I grow a second penis.

You probably missed the announcement by the poo yai baan over the village loudspeakers at 05.00 AM!

My Thai wife had registered and was supposed to get the vaccine on 25th. Yesterday she received a message that this was cancelled. They informed her that from 25th onwards they are only vaccinating Thais who are registered in Phuket. Many (maybe even the majority) do not bother with that and are still officially registered in their home provinces. Her daughter is on the list for 24th and although also not registered in Phuket they assured her they will vaccinate her today. Now let's wait and see if they send her home without.

Can anyone - based on personal experience - recommend a second hand car dealer around Kathu? Planning to buy an Isuzu pick up.

Perhaps the lady is not looking forward to having structural trouble with a gang of youths that steal motorbikes to finance their yaba addiction?

According to his facebook page he worked most of his live in the timeshare business.
Interesting what he posted on 3 november 2020:
The world, humanity; fully filled with to much greed, selfishness, and money. The world shows people to only think about themselves and no one else. Fight, stand up for yourself and your loved ones and show only Love ! Be better then them, stay yourself! Fight for those people close around you as they deserve better, you deserve better. Being healthy, having a roof above your head, being able to eat and live is all that matters, stay positive no matter what, let's not forget!! Be happy to live! Peace people peace! Karma does the rest Going to leave it like this

Yeah "too big to fail" or in this case "too big to answer". Too busy counting their money and no time to bother with the plebs who generate that money for them.

Everything will be explained and it will go like this:
Yes, it is correct that the mansion listed as property 24 is in the name of my gardener which shows that I take care off my employees. In return he kindly allows me to use the mansion and I can assure you that the 23-year old Thai lady living there at the moment is NOT a family member of mine. So all good. Next.
