It does seem like flying out of buildings as a method is much more common here.
lots of apartment blocks. personally i think it's real sad for someone to decide to do that. a call to the samaritans could avoid these things. anyway, his choice

it's nothing to do with thailand. depression and suicide is common everywhere, here it just makes the news for some reason

Since you seem to have an attitude, so will I. No one as sure as the ignorant. Not old, not moldy. 7 minute walk up to main road. A couple of shots from before we moved in. It's 7 floors, pool in courtyard. Quiet soi, lots of trees in neighborhood.
People are so cock sure of things they have no knowledge...
looks alright, need an electric oven though : )

<deleted>? My GF just bought a 7 million baht condo. If anyone knows about thai wealth it's me
You made an assumption and came out swinging.
It would be only thais living in it so how am wrong? Yep your looking the fool now ?
By the way living in a house and living a shoe box are very different without air .. I shouldn't be educating you on that.
you are wrong as i know some farang blokes living in the proper cheap places, well i used too. probably still there. congrats on your mrs condo btw, 7m sounds very average ; )

A grown western adult , shared bathroom and no air in humid stinking hot BKK? How could you know everyone is clean? Have you seen how thais trash thailand.. Doubt they will be wiping after themselves
Great for thais but pointless in the context of this threadyou think you're above thais do you. you think they're all poor and have lower standards. poor you mate

So was polite but not submissive when given false information about their requirements as I know a bad attitude gets bad results. Firm but polite is my style and anyway my wife did all of the communicating, she is polite but firm also. At the end we left the office all parties smiling with them bad mouthing us as we left.... lol. At the time we were waiting an American guy was at the counter asking advice.... my wife told me the staff were very rude and disrespectful about him talking in Thai
yeah they sound a bit weird mate. print off UJ's link and take that with you. you have a right to the extension

I understand the Kor Ror 2 requirement but missed seeing in other posts here on TV. I will not pursue the extension of stay as our plans have changed for next year for being in Thailand. But I will seek a 60 day extension to visit my wife, my concern they will again to refuse to offer this. So can anyone give me a link where I can print off details that the Thai Imm Office accept this as I will need to show the IO at Hat Yai this as in my experience of them they are not well trained and lack key knowledge.
you should have no problems doing a 60 extension. i don't know that place but go in polite and smiley and that should not be an issue at all

I agree. The working girls I know have their own bathroom and maybe that is why they pay more like 5000 to 6000 a month. Once I visited a room in Thailand near MRT where a working girls unemployed brother and his wife and baby lived for 1000 baht a month. We stopped by so she could give them some food. Shared bathrooms by many people and no air and aluminum and a few cinder blocks for the walls. Could not live there but many Thais do live in the bare minimum. Would not have gone there without her and probably would not go back.
1000 must be a bit of a slum 555. i've been to something similar. you're like what the hell is this place. the girl i mentioned is a nurse and most people there are workers you know so it's alright. my brother in law took me to a slummy place once to see one of his mates. didn't feel safe at all being a farang there. proper sketchy

I have visited a few paid ladies in BKk that have 5000 to 6000 baht rooms in BKK. They work at nana bar or Soi Cowboy at night and are fresher and cheaper at 1 or 2 pm before they head to work. They have air and nice sort of inside but small and usually only Thais live there. Furniture is simply and sturdy. No pool or gym or security guards except maybe one that only speaks thai. One girl had a nice room right across from BTS at Ratchatherwi. Most are at On Nut or Huay kwang. IMO you would need to speak thai well and maybe read thai to find these rooms and not worth it for an expat to live there as you may be a target since we really don’t belong there. But you could live in a room with bath for 5000 baht a month if you are fluent and willing and some are close to BTS. For the average expat no way you would even know these rooms exist as it is where most of the Thai workers live including but not limited to the working girls.
i know a girl (just someone i know and not a working girl) she pays 3,500 and the rooms a decent size. the buildings very clean and secure but shared bathrooms but everyones very clean there. no aircon though but actually it's a perfectly nice place really. just can't play music or anything really as they have those windows that are in the corridor. but if you need cheap, it's available

I used to own a second condo in soi 101 before flipping it but that was brand new top floor and the rent would have been 12k probably knocked down to 10k with shuttle bus to bts.
Wouldn't want to live their though at 33sqmhis place is over near sapan taksin. big room and nice views. nice enough for him, he's single

15k baht for rent. Must be staying far away from bts and tiny rooms. Even single bedrooms on popular projects cost at least 20k.
really. my mate lives in a large condo a few minutes walk from his bts and is only paying 10k. maybe you should shop around

well they were just having a laugh i suppose, now 5k lighter. they must have known they'd get fined for it
