On my iPhone 6 I had many problems and they all went away after replacing battery for 600b at MBK

I replaced the battery too, but the issue still there, and quick run of power too,

so the issue became doubled, slow and quick run out battery,

I read a recent post saying that Apple apologizes for iPhone slowdowns:

You can read the full article in below link:

It's very common for people to complain about the slowness of an iPhone following updating the OS. Sometimes this can be 'fixed' by doing a complete 'reset' of the phone (dumping everything and starting as a new user on the phone).

The 'apple slowing iPhones' story you've seen on the news is more similar to the Volkswagen EPA/MPG car computer cheat that allowed Volkswagen to 'force' lower emissions only during test conditions ...as it's likely apple is doing something similar to show consistently longer battery life over the life of the phone ...unlike my Acer laptop on battery.

Though, it doesn't hurt apple if you notice your 1.7 yo iPhone feels slower and than before so you decide to buy the latest when it's released to have that feeling of fast response once again. And fast response it would have, when compared to that previous clock speed reduced iPhone.

I think it's called planned obsolescence.  Or is it pre-programmed obsolescence -- I forget.

Well, if have to do this reset and dump everything away after every upgrade,, then what to make sense of using this device? delete everything and start as a new user,, i guess not the right option, at least for myself. maybe OK for others,  we are living in a transparent world and they should satisfy their users or they will get dumped away,,

  3. since about a month or so ago, noticed my device (iPhone 5s) becoming slow and slow,,

most instant media notifications: line, whatspp, Gmail are disabled and can check it only after open the application directly,

I was really wondered, untill watched in the news few days ago that apple slowering the old devices, in a move to urge / encourage users to throw their old devices and buy the newer one,

Anyone of you guys had the same experience, pls share your opinion, to make sure it's a fact, then to decide what to buy the next time.

Thx for your proposal, if it's referral based, I won't be interested in any ponzi scheme types,

legality, transparency is the criteria to go in any venture, no matter what incentives to be promoted,

Anyone involved in this biz, based here in BKK, i am willing to involve,

but no ponzi deals proposals etc, my initial investment max $1k, won't risk jump too deep in this cloudy biz.

'I found a guy called James altucher described to be an expert inthe field and promoting his training and ebook,'

I've also looked at Altucher & others, claimed to be experts on the self-promoting sites, and they are not explaining mining, wallets, exchange comparisons etc. They are purely promoting their $1000 or so advisory service via all the hype they can muster.

My advice is not to invest a cent in these hucksters. You've received some far better advice for free in some of the above posts.

Usually when I want to be any product online, particularly a digital stuff, I must communicate with the support team and see how they react, then make a call, and the product should be listed on a trusted platform,

for this guy, i sent to them at least 10 emails since a week ago, never got a single reply, and I gave them a call,, also was on machine,,

I won't go into mining, Chinese set the mining pools of 3000 - 5000 miner per hub, in the mountains near the water stream competing with the clockwise, so as individual is far more complicated and pointless to keep counting the sand grains in the desert!

However, this is a necessary learning curve before to jump into any industry, should learn the process basics, to know how this product / currency being produced, how to be traded, etc..

I'm in the learning stage to educate myself the necessary elements, then can implement with any ALTcoins too,

I heard about nicehash, anyone heard about this? or investing in cloud? or ICM?

Actually, I seen an ads banner here in Thaivisa forum talking about ICM between 19-28 Dec. anyone of you logged in there guys?

I am sorry for "denby45" about the ponzi scheme, recently I received a such offer too, but denied and ignored,

However, I think the right deal to find a trusted agency such as stock brokers or something alike who can provide advises about what currency to trade, or hold etc,  and should never start with a big amount, just little if lost,, won't make you broke..

I wish to hear more comments, or advises, recommendations etc, share knowledge ..

I'm a relative newbie, but I started trading a month back in a very small way. I studied first for about a month, but wished I'd just dived straight in now because ALL coin prices shot up during that period, it would've been worth risking a couple of cock-ups as it turned out.

Never mind, in a month of small and very cautious investing in Bitcoin and a few altcoins, I'm roughly 22,000 baht in profit, which is about half my monthly pension. The money I invest, before anyone flames me, is a small part of my savings which are earning practically no interest in my bank.

I realise that the profit I have is still invested, so I can't count on it, but  it won't break me if I lose it all. I'd like to double what I have now and bank half, then I'm playing with monopoly money, so I can have fun.

I'm sorry I can't help you on the mining front although I have seen people on the Thailand forums asking  if there are people interested in forming mining partnerships.

I trade with bx in th. They make you jump through a few hoops to register, but it's no problem if you're determined and have a Thai bank account. I'm also registered with coins co th but haven't started trading with them yet, although I plan to in the near future to spread the risk around a bit.

I don't know about the ethical side of cryptos and don't really care. My money has all been hard-earned and if I can increase it by investing in this medium then I'll sleep well at night.

I've enjoyed crypto trading so far, but there again, there haven't been any major pullbacks.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

  7. Hey guys,

As most of you have heard about the biggest one (Bitcoin) since the beginning,

knowing it's a digital currency, non-tracked, safe but also used in the wrong ways  (dark web affairs)

recently, I watched a documentary in TV about the recent boom,

so I did some googling about it, began to discover the block-chain work flow of this currency, mining pools,

renting your PC machine CPU/GPU to do the mining jobs, etc..

besides this, there are a lot of trader agencies, agents offering ICO cryptocurrencies,

beside bitcoin, Litherium if the spelling is correct, and many others..

I searched more in specific to get the right training or guideline to jump into this market of digital currencies,

I found a guy called James altucher described to be an expert inthe field and promoting his training and ebook,

As I mentioned in the beginning, completely new to this, just hearing about it in the news, or crossing me in the web surf activities,

Is the Bitcoin or any other digital crypto currency accepted / used in Thailand?

Anyone had some experience with this trade? or mining? or which part of this market is more useful?

As noticed in the mining process there is a huge electricity consumption by the machines (PCs) used in mining,

anyone living in Thailand doing this mining process of Bitcoin, or any similar? is it profitable? any advise?

Anyone knows a trusted agency, or a mentor/expert that provide efficient training / guideline trading of the cryptocurrency,

Any additional information, or recommendation from previous experience would be highly appreciated,

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Guys, I mentioned that I faced the dual price at x11 times than Thai to pay, exactly at puttabat park around Jan 2016, 500 baht, and 450 baht at khao yai around July or August same year,

anyone visited these places at later on time??

the solider at the gate shown me a paper with stamp to prove as evidence,

to pay double than a Thai still ok somehow, calculate from 40 to 450-500 baht, I hope some Govt representative feedback about this issue, it’s a discriminatory very ugly shameful matter to be like this, why can’t be available at reasonable price for everyone?

I don't go to any Thai establishment that overcharges foreigners out of principle, whether private or nationally owned!

    They gain NOTHING from me!

(NB Falang is an abusive term which would never be allowed in a Western country for describing a white ethnic person, it's the same as calling a colored man a N****r or an Asia person a S**p and should be stamped out by the Government as an abhorrent racist term and no way to address Thailand's visitors. This discriminatory and 'racist' terminology, towards Western foreigners, reduces Thailand's moral standing to its lowest ebb which the vast majority of Thai people do not deserve to be labelled with).

Exploitative charges are NOT a question of cost but of ethics and morality and not treating your County's guests as 'Punters' to be exploited!

The 'Money first greed culture of exploitation' only does harm to Thailand's standing in the world and creates more harm than any immediate material gains.

FIRST RULE OF BUSINESS:-  TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS FAIRLY AND THEY WILL COME BACK! MISTREAT THEM AND THEY WON'T COME BACK.

When is Thailand going to learn this simple rule of business?

I had some experience with this, so I'll share it my opinion about this matter:

several years ago (before current junta regime), used to drive and visit khao Yai national park at nakhon rachasima several time per year, sometimes camping and stay over night, or just one day tour and back the same day at night,

At the entrance gate, I just show my Thai driving license and pay around 40 or 50 thb as entrance fee, also have to pay for the car entrance, for my wife pay 40 thb, kids below free, somehow this was ok,

Around Jan or early Feb 2016, went to Khao-kho at Petchabun province with a friend (foreigner), after touring well around khaokho area, some locals advised us to drive ahead and visit Puttabat national park, they told us is not far from the area and interesting to visit there, the next day we drove ahead, when we got to there, from the norther-east entrance gate, the sunrise side, the security guards told us to pay 500 bht entrance fee for each, plus the car,

Well, this 1000 baht, almost the price of a full tank of E20 the cost of that time, which can drive for 500 km, so we just returned back and cancelled the visiting trip,

Later on around July or Aug 2016, we planned a trip to Khao Yai national park, (our old place) with the families and kids, which I used to pay around 50 or something around that,

but this time the guards shown us a paper that was hanged outside the small window stating that foreigners are required to pay full price of 450 bht, no matter if you have a work permit or whatever,

This time we found ourselves obliged to pay 900 baht for the two of us (2 foreigners) and 40 baht for each of the Thai ladies, because we planned the trip with the families and kids, otherwise we may take a U-turn to somewhere else,

After this experience, was my last time to there, why a Thai individual will pay 40 and I am required to pay 450? x11 times cost? where this discriminatory rule in the world?

when we driving back, my friend kept saying <deleted> about this? do we cause any pollution or damage to the nature?

Usually we spent more money inside the facilities, what is the wrong be charged and treated in such unfair racist manner like this? or just a way to ban foreigners from going to there? by any right this? land and nature is to the whole humanity,

Anyone of you guys experienced like this when visiting museums, national parks, national libraries and art galleries in France, Italy, UK, USA etc?

I totally agree with Peter, this is an abhorrent racist, and from that time I will never visit any of such places again, is not because of the amount, just because it made me feel this treatment as it was a racist act, and I will never do anywhere else in the word if such double price discriminatory rule in place.

Yes. His wife and at least one child would need to be with him when he applies.

I have done that at Bangkok Immigration and Kanchanaburi Immigration without any problem. I suggest your friend contacts his local office in good time before he applies to confirm what they will accept, as offices can have their own policies. If the office insist that the money has to be in the bank for a set time it should only be 2 months.

Thanks for the suggestions, will advise him accordingly,

The rules say that a parent only needs to have funds in the account on the day they apply. I have applied as a married parent at two different offices on that basis.

Extensions can be applied for anytime within the last 30 days of the 90. He should apply as early as possible. The extension will start when the current permission to stay ends regardless of how early he applies.

He wouldn't need to prove where the money came from.

He shouldn't have to wait 3 months. At worst it should be 2 months. Yes he could apply for a 60 day extension and then apply for a 1 year extension once the funds had been in his account for 2 months.

It's possible that the office will insist that the funds are in one account in his name, although that isn't a hard and fast rule.

    Thanks for all these clarifications,

Yes, he is married with Thai national, and has 3 kids with her, his elder daughter issued ID card as he told me since last year,

so as per the above, I understood that he could just put 400k in his account and go to apply before his 90 days visa expires, is this correct? without the need to wait few months? as long as he is a father to 3 Thai kids and married with Thai lady (his wife)

or the time of money in his bank acc. must be for 3 months time?

I guess just the point, other required parts are OK now,

    thanks

  12. Thanks to all of your contribution guys, he is not in retirement age yet, pls take a note,

The person he is a father of 3 Thai kids, and all paper at hands, his elder daughter 12 years old, issued Thai ID card already,

as he told me, this is first time using Non-o visa, and needs to extend it to 1 year, at his 2 bank accounts cash a bit less than 400k,

As I understood in above, if someone as father of Thai kids, he just needs to arrange the full amount that required (400k) on the day he is going to apply for the extension, am I right? as told me his current non-o visa will be expired on the 28th Nov.

He never used non-o before, was using his job visa, you can say this is the first time he's applying for this, so in case required to provide the full amount 400k, he may borrow to complete as shown in his bank acc. then apply? in case must wait for 3 months, then he may apply for another 60 days extension and apply again?

Any advises in this case, or some usef suggestions would be highly appreciated,

    thanks

  13. Hey guys,

I was talking with a friend recently regarding visa matters and extensions,

As far as I knew that to get Non-O extension for 1 year for married guys with Thai ladies,

besides the regular paper work, should show the evidence of possession of 400k THB,

this friend told in the context of talking about someone's else case, if have kids, just 200k THB and be saved into the account for at least 2 months,

this would be accepted to get the one year extension, I never heard about this, and always hear about the well-known 400k and for 3 months in your bank acc.

if anyone knew about this, or had any similar experience in this 200k matter (for someone married and has 3 Thai kids), all paper works in place, please advise,

    Thanks.

  14. Thanks to all your comments,

I done some searching in this forum, I can say that property market is over saturated,

In Cambodia probably chances are much better if to buy some units and rent them out,

but, another main obstacle, that I dont know anything about the rules there, as I guess any biz deal seems to be surrounded by corruption etc,

Maybe I can suggest to stay away from property market in here, buying products and export probably still the best option to my understand,

He should stick to doing these things in his home country where he has (one assumes) a clue about how such things are done. All aspects of the real estate market here are saturated and the things you've listed would be restricted or prohibited to foreigners.

No ideas about can or can't,

what I say say that they have products like rice, sugar for exports,

other stuff I dont know, that's why I asked if anyone had the same experience, or done something similar, or any..

  16. Hello,

I've a friend in the US. he was asking about investment opportunities in Thailand,

mentioned to invest in property sector, to buy old houses, renovate them sell,

or new condo units under construction, till finish then rent or sell if can make a better deal in price,

Also, he is interested about agriculture sector, to lease land for grow crops,

or build warehouses to store crop products then sell or export,

personally, I have no any experiences in all these matters, only what I knew that a foreigner can buy condo,

or establish a company then use that biz name to buy house or lease land, but not sure of more details about this,

I would like to know if any of you invested in real estate, or agricultural, growing crops, or storing and trading/exporting agri products from here?

As to open a new company for such case, shall go to lawyer office? or any Govt department,

any advise or recommendation will be appreciated,

    thanks in advance,
