I have great compassion for the common Thai people. Unfortunately, the masses just do not have the where with all to deal with "the big guns". It's going to require a full bore revolution; that in itself will produce a devastating outcome for the people and the country.

All revolutions are bloody. How do you think the outcome of a Thai one would be devastating?

Yes and that is why there will never be a recognition of what I suggested. Too much loss of face for the fragile Thai male ego and it appears some Farang ego's also.

Why loss of face? just a cultural thing. Thai men would rather marry a pale-skinned younger woman with no children. Certainly not one over 35, whereas most farang like to rescue farmer's daughters from a life at the Pink Pussy bar as a cashier, and are willing to move to remote place in the middle of nowhere and help her lazy family.

Nothing is going to happen. The only people who care about election are Thai Visa posters.

Thais either don't care or are scared to have an opinion. I am almost certain most don't care. Even the skies are clearing up and the pollution is down today. Mai pen rai, nothing worry.

You are right in a way and it's rather ironic if you look at their presidents and PMs.

Thai people secretly love him for what he's done to the country, similar to Yanks and Trump, but feel embarrassed to say so.

I'm very happy with the recent years since the coup, corruption has been slashed at governmental and especially in the police.

I'll get excited when he recognizes my marriage to a Thai along with the fixed assets I have provided  my Thai family such as a house; support of Thai children abandoned by their Thai father; various purchases of land; as well as cars and other monies sent on a yearly basis which I can easily  prove. Sorry, If I don't believe any of this nonsense

I think he would just laugh at you marrying "second hand goods with baggage"(as Thai men see it, and would never dream of doing and laugh at farang doing it) and throwing money away to her, as you obviously aren't able to buy a house or land in your name.

"If it were a female teacher doing it, I might say you lucky ********, I wish some of my female teachers were like that!"

That would be condoning sexual assault.

I would condone a normal sexually oriented 16+ getting 'assaulted' by a female. One reason is that they could easily say no, whereas a female being assaulted by a male is totally different.

I'm sure many guys reading this would condone being sexually assaulted by a sexy lady.

As I have said, the gender of the victim has nothing to do with the nature of the crime, nor should it have any impact on how a society reacts to it.

There were allegations that a teacher at my daughters' private school used to be a little 'too friendly' with some of the girls. I didn't react to this. However, if I had heard there was a male teacher doing the same things, I'd prosecute at least. Similarly, if my boys were subjected to the same by a male teacher I would do something. If it were a female teacher doing it, I might say you lucky ********, I wish some of my female teachers were like that!

If and i say if the man is guilty he needs jailed for a long time.

Yet once again the Big joke is opening his mouth before any proper investigation, court case to prove his guilt.

Personally i find it difficult to believe a man who has lived here so long, has family here, would suddenly turn into a rapist.

What on Earth has the length of time spent in a country/having family got to do with being a rapist or not?

His greatest achievement has been uniting the country - against him. If he wins the election it is solely due to the lack of foreign observers keeping the election on the straight and narrow.

Totally false, the country has been united. Do you live in Pattaya or somewhere and not talk to normal Thais?
