Whatever it may be, always push to buy only on COD, no matter if online or at the store if it has to be ordered and delivered.

See it all the time! Years ago I rear-ended someone in Bangkok; it was totally my fault, and the rear bumper of the car I hit fell clean off. A farang got out of the driver’s seat and said, “No problem, no problem! Please just drive away, I can just fix this myself”; then a ladyboy got out of the passenger's seat and was (rightfully) angry with me. I took the driver’s advice and left; last I saw in my rear-view mirror, he’d picked up the rear bumper and was trying to pop it back into place, while his friend was yelling at him.
I was lucky that I didn’t have to pay to fix their car, but really, people should just be chill! If someone wants to be critical, that’s their problem ...
Very true as many are tend to violent surges. The artificial hormonal destabilisation maybe ?

Not to mention the trap the other way round with the automatic exchange of tax information.
Could concern foreigners who have purchased property or deposited funds in Thailand that are not declared to their respective tax revenue departments in their home countries.
Not surprising why people are rushing now to sell and nobody is wanting to buy.

OK, but if the gov't is serious they can and must find a way.
If caught with an unlicensed gun 30 days mandatory jail might help, but of course that depends on 'who' is involved in the process.
But there's always more than one way to skin a cat.
You are so right. But the point could be not to skin the cat, but to catch it in the first place.

Never understood the farang arrogance in a foreign country, fingerpointing on the local dresscodes.

Always very entertaining to watch the ladyboy strolling towards a hotel followed by a bodybuilt tatooed macho closely behind, pretending like "no I'm not with
himher...".????- 1

What can the law change, considering that most of the guns being passed around are non declared and pass through underground networks ?

A crook, but a Thai crook and that too, in uniform. In other words, the caste of the untouchables, high above the law for the mortals.

On buying in Thailnd, only put in what you can afford to loose.
Even renting sometimes leads to unpleasant hassles.

With the forthcomming tax absurdity on foreign income, who want's to stay long and get ripped by the boggie(tax)man ?

After the random shootings in the Bangkok Mall, tourism numbers will crash low in Thailand.
Any place in the world had similar shortly after such mass shootings on the street.

The rest of the world has the same laws for all and no special privileges for the hi-so. Just to remind. But if the restaurant owner has family back in Thailand, they could be in some sort of hot soup as well as their assets or property.

The price for that hop on hop off service is fixed and looks quite reasonable. Only downside seems to be that the tuk tuk isn't actually a tuk tuk because it's an EV and therefore doesn't make the proper sound.
price fixed okay...but how visible are the prices for toursts wishing to hop on ?

Police arrested a man suspected of being responsible for a shooting spree at Siam Paragon that injured at least one person and sending hundreds of shoppers fleeing Thailand’s most popular shopping mall in central Bangkok this afternoon.Photos posted on social media show a policeman kneeling over the suspect who was lying face down and a pistol on the floor nearby.
It was not immediately clear as to how many people were injured while some news outlets reported that a security guard was wounded. Witnesses said the gunman was dressed in black shirt and wore army-style trousers but it was not known whether he had any accomplices. Video clips and photos of the suspected gunman prowling the scene after the shooting which occurred at around 4 pm were also posted on the social media as the place was evacuated.
The exits toward Siam Paragon and Siam Discovery of Siam station of BTS sky-train were closed with passengers forced to use only the Siam Square exit.

East Europeans can be very vicious. Not all of course but many can.
I always avoid them in public places, when they try to start to chat.
