Don't rush and get the first one available on Lazada or Amazon....Whatever make or type of cover chosen, make sure it is not an air tight pack and can breath....best to have a covered and shaded open area and cover only with breathable thin cloth sheets that would seem better then plastic that will prevent ending up with rust and mildew if you use very strong waterproof PVC cover for long unused period in a tropical climate....

Use foreign looking people (or the "wanna-be-cops" of the Tourist Police who are farangs) and make them pose as customers in the official Thai taxis or tuk tuks and the real facts will arise....in the meantime - GRAB/UBER is the solution and be sure to make many contacts with the GRAB drivers in case some corrupt official wakes up one morning and tries to ban GRAB in Thailand.

Depends now active the official taxi criminals are in your area....but I'd rather wait, even walk a bit bit further where it's discreet for the GRAB/UBER driver.....but never...never will use a official Taxi/tuk tuk cheat in Thailand
