KBank App Sending Money From Thailand to UK
I recently sold one of my cars and am trying to send money from my KBank account back to the UK using the International Transfer option on the App. System won't let me complete the transfer, apparently I cannot send remittance to myself. I managed to transfer funds back to the UK more than a year ago and don't remember having a problem before. Anybody else encounter this problem? Is there a work around apart from sending funds to another family member back in the UK? Apart from Western Union & DEE Money are there any other options of sending money back the UK. Cheers...

BYD Sealion 7 Range
Any members bought the Sealion? I have been reading mixed reviews in Facebook regarding the range. Some people having been reporting very poor range. I'm thinking buying a SL7, but it would be good to hear 1st hand reports rather than Thai translated comments on Facebook. Cheers...

Good to see GBP / THB rate improve - Trump effect ?
The GBP/THB rate is always linked to the USD/THB rate. Whatever the USD/THB rate of exchange is multiply by GBP/USD rate and you get the GBP/THB rate. Basically Brits would need a strong Pound against the Dollar to get a better THB exchange rate.

KBank App Transfer Overseas
Just tried using the KBank App for the first time to transfer some money from my Thai account to my UK bank account. After you have inputted all the bank details etc. the final check box says "Money earned in Thailand", no other option. The money is not from earnings in Thailand, it's from various transfers from my UK bank this past year. I was worried if I checked the box, then the bank passes on this information, would I get a letter from the tax department at a later date? Would welcome input from people that have used the KBank App to transfer money overseas. I was going to use Dee Money, but it's getting bad reviews these days. Any other first hand accounts of cost effective options to send money back to the UK without getting ripped off with exchange rates and other hidden charges? Cheers...

Thanks, but I haven't been back to the UK for a number of years. I did have a look at HL but UK address was a prerequisite for opening an account with them.

UK Stocks Trading Online or Apps
My UK bank is no longer letting me trade online as I'm based in Thailand and cannot confirm a UK postal address. I've tried a few sites, but it seems impossible without a verified UK address. Can open app account such as Toro but don't want that as I will be subject to exchange penalizing exchange rates when buying and selling as funding will be from GBP Debit card.. Thanks
