A 'Pint' just isn't a real Pint in Thailand.
Thailand was never part of the British Empire and in fact was used as a buffer between the British Malaya and French Indochina (Vietnam). Thailand nominally adopted the metric system in 1923 and the Americans used Thailand for R&R during the Vietnam war, so any historical reference to a pint would likely be to the smaller U.S. pint. Not sure if there are any Gary Lineker pubs in Bangkok, Pattaya, Krabi or Chiang Mai but maybe they’d have what you seek?

Thai Beach Vendors using their slingshots on the poor Monkeys!
I was at that temple when a Chinese lady tried to feed a monkey a bag of crisps. The monkey snatched at the bag and it fell to the ground. When the lady tried to pick up the bag the monkey tried to attack her. Fortunately I was able to make a grab at the monkey’s tail, which distracted it and likely saved her from getting bitten or scratched.

- For long term expats, is your average life expectancy based on your home country or Thailand?
Depends on your lifestyle within Thailand. Live a simple life like the locals, likely have an extended life. My wife’s grandmother was over 100 when she died. Drinking daily, smoking, chasing young ladies, eating unhealthily? I think you know the answer to that.- Visa exemptions for China and Kazakhstan nationals start on September 25
Flights from Almaty to both Bangkok and Phuket. Takes about six hours. Flew to both with Air Astana on many occasions over the last 6 years. A daily flight to both about 5 days per week. Always busy. Just back in Almaty now waiting for an onward internal flight. - For long term expats, is your average life expectancy based on your home country or Thailand?
