Applied on Friday 29th April for 2 x people. Thai wife approved on 1st attempt. Thai passport supplied but expired ( no issues ) Overseas Vaccine in married name and of course Thai passport in maiden name ( no issues - Thai marry papers supplied ) I too was approved on 1st attempt. System worked 100% fine \ OK Approval within 12 hours for both if us. @PJ71 Are your comments from your own recent experience? Would be good to have up to date info on border crossing into Laos and back into Thailand...... ( Air or Land entry / return ) So you are saying the ability to today get a 1 year Non O from Sanankhet is all 'business as usual' today? Thanx in advance.

Any idea on Time Frame when the Savannakhet route may be possible once again?

@ubonjoe - I'm just looking at the Spouse Visa Non O form from above Do you really require 400K in Thai bank ( question 7.2 ) to get the 90 day Visa? Say after only 30 days after arriving in the country ( and you must apply with 15 days left ) Thanks in advance.

If you were to enter on a Visa Exempt 30 day, then extend for a further 30 days, after that initial 60 days can you then also apply for a 90 day 'O' visa? ( am married to a Thai )

If you stay for the full 90 days........ Once a year is OK..... any more and they will pull you aside and tell you to get the appropriate and correct Visa! Happened to me.
