The witch-hunts continue unabated while the country sinks into the mire because of corruption and political feuding.

Most rednecks that voted for the vile orange blob wouldn't even know where Thailand is because most haven't ever crossed the county line.
Let alone know anything about the rest of the world, hillbilly voters with no education, perfect for the man baby and his corrupt family and the corrupt GOP

They are too entrenched in the political merry go round to worry about what ordinary people think.
As they showed by disenfranchising the election winners and their voter's from taking office.
The corrupt dynasties have only themselves to blame because of their destain of democracy, which is fulfilled by corrupt courts and so forth.
Thailand is becoming more of a bad soap opera every day with these self entitled Muppets running everything

So much for karma with the monk mafia...
A shameful episode in the history of Bhuddist philosophy.

Another in a long list of Thai expat experts who has probably never been to Isaan, where I live and have done for 17 years.
He won't be receiving any royalties from me.

You could have bought a Maxplay stick for about a grand instead of going 24 large, but don't get me wrong I'm no experts in these matters and still have nightmares about CTH, I still have their dish glued to the side of the house too 🙂
Me too, the CTH thing was a complete joke and no-one came to claim the dish.

I don't see how complaining about certain things in life supposedly, according to the OP, means you are unhappy.
Complete BS.
It's freedom of speech and back in most expats home countries no doubt the same things were voiced.
Of course complaints about living here on this platform I guess are relatively safe as opposed to complaining in person, which could land you in a whole lot of pain, deformation, LM or simply no service whatsoever, not to mention a battering.

A desperate attempt from the pathetic tourism authorities to curry favour on behalf of their masters in Peking.
A really low level stoop, they are clearly cacking their pants...

It appears that in so called religious businesses throughout the world the embezzlement, organised buggery, human trafficking, abuse of innocent children knows no abounds.
In other words they are fronts for organised crime and should be completely banned.

The only cutting is the Thai cutting their nose off to spite their face.
The current Muppets in the government have zero credibility, no experience, no intellectual capacity to run a department and are merely on the merry go round of political favours to keep a incompetent government in power that lost the election.

I hope the bar tells him to FO buying his way out and he's deported and blacklisted the scum.
Particularly as his return to the scene was premeditated.

Perhaps a few more slappings from bars will get the message through that inside an establishment there are rules and if you don't adhere to them, there are consequences.
However I suspect the IQ level is so low that the dumb will, hopefully keep getting battered.

Being humble gets the best results in Thailand if you want to be part of the community, if you don't then flaunt your wealth and be looked down upon as a ugly farang with too much money and then shout loudly when you don't get any respect or response from local businesses.

Who knows, there is so much going on politically that us farang will never hear about. Unless evidence explodes into the open via media, we will never know. Although, I agree it would be very strange for a Thai politician to do something so obviously politically stupid
The vast majority of Thai politicians are dumb and stupid.

Years ago I was hanging out with a Thai guy (don't ask) who was typically racist towards Indians and their food (their curries are funny, ours are much better, the people and their food smells, etc.). So I took him to a banana leaf curry restaurant in Bangkok and he really liked it -- hey this is good, I guess I just haven't been exposed to much outside the usual Thai food lane.
The reason there are so many Indian restaurants in Pattaya is because there are so many Indian tourists here. Many of them have "special rooms" upstairs for group discounted meals. There indeed may not be very many Indian tourists happy to pay 350 for a mutton curry with a few chunks of meat in it, but the group deals explains how that market can still be satisfied. If coming as families, the kids usually want familiar foods. I think a majority are vegetarian so nothing easier than Indian restaurants for that. Also many of the restaurant owners do multitask with other related tourism businesses such as tours, import/export, etc. Sure there are some criminals in any group but I find much of the conspiracy theories about why so many Indian restaurants by westerners are transparently racist.
I don't understand a word of your reply.
I clearly stated that I have no intention of eating Indian food in Thailand. That is my choice.
Anyone else can do as they please.
There is always competition in business whatever it is, unless it is a monopoly.
When I eat here I go to restaurant's that are full of Thai customers, they don't eat in places where the food is bad.
I have never seen a Indian restaurant in Thailand full or even a quarter full in 17 years. If that works for them, good luck.
They won't be getting my baht as I said Thai food in my opinion is far superior.

You can't blame Roojai for your mishandling
Yes I can.
If the information was correctly presented at the start, as per my circumstances then I would have made sure the OTP to my wife's phone as the owner, I would have had her next to me at the time.
Don't make excuses for other people who's lack of clarity has lost them the business.

To the OP, I can recommend Roojai.
Have had excellent service from them.
Well I know it's serious when I spend time filling out the criteria for my policy, and to find out it's been a waste of time at the last ditch.
Now happily insured elsewhere.

Unpaid Motorcycle Tax
in Motorcycles in Thailand

When I bought a Click from my wife's friend we re registered it in my wife's name, it had not been taxed for 5 or 6 years.
If I recall correctly those untaxed years had to be paid before the new 1 year tax was issued.
It was 12 or 13 years ago.
