  1. Stevie Wonder and Jeff Beck Perform "Superstition" at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary
  2. Another important factor is whether you were "contracted out" of SERPS at any time. According to my NI record, I have 36 full years of contributions, but since I was contracted out of SERPS while working for local government, I don't get the full weekly amount.
  3. Checked episode 1 and it does have English subtitles.
  4. I don't take she-who-must-be-obeyed with me when I go to renew my permission to stay (retirement). I just get her to sign copies of her ID and house book which I present to the IO along with the other required docs, and that seems to be acceptable.
  5. I'm currently watching Rocco Schiavone (Ice Cold Murders) season 4. IMHO this is a great TV series. From IMDB: Weed smoking, foulmouthed Rocco Schiavone is an offbeat Deputy Commissioner of the State Police. For disciplinary reasons he is transferred to the Alpine town of Aosta, far from his beloved Rome. The sophisticated but cranky Roman despises the mountains, the cold, and the provincial locals as much as he disdains his superiors and their petty rules. But he loves solving crimes. Well worth a watch IMHO. You won't be disappointed. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6231158/
  6. Fauda season 4 appears to be on TGx in English (21.7 GB). Downloading now to check.
  7. Until I was issued with my Yellow Book/Pink ID Card immigration asked for photocopies of my Thai wife's Blue House Book and her ID card. Now, they accept a photocopy of my Yellow House Book. Perhaps I have missed something. I have always presented copies of my wife's ID card & house book as proof of address. So are you saying that it's a big deal that you now only have to present a photocopy of your YHB instead of the two pages of your wife's ID & house book? This is a serious post and not a pi$$take from someone who doesn't have a YHB/pink ID card.
  8. I've found through experience that Ivermectin is the most efficacious (IMHO) when dealing with ticks, mites, fleas and other parasites on dogs. I administer Ivermectin to my 2 dogs in the form of powder bought from a local pharmacy, every 2 weeks, dissolved in a little milk. As already stated, it doesn't stop ticks getting on the dog, but once they bite the dog, it's game over for the tick. It keeps my dogs are relatively tick-free. Edit: Forgot to mention: It's not suitable for certain dogs, such as collies, old English and Shetland sheepdogs.
  9. Bloodsuckers
  10. I tried a few electric strimmers but never found one to be satisfactory. I ended up buying a string head which I can attach to my 4-stroke Honda petrol strimmer.
  11. Each time you enter Thailand you will get a new 90 day permission to stay starting on the new entry date, as long as your visa is still valid. The ME visa doesn't expire after 90 days, it's your current permission to stay that expires after 90 days. The ME Non-O is valid for one year.
  12. Thanks @Jingthing. I'll give it a go.
  13. I've just watched Stonehouse season 1. It's a three-part drama following the life and times of disgraced Labour politician John Stonehouse, a high-flying minister of Prime Minister Harold Wilson's government vanished from the beach of a large luxury hotel in Florida in Nov. 1974, leaving a neatly folded pile of clothes as he swam into the sea, intent on faking his own death. I found it quite enjoyable and worth a look IMHO. It's already been mentioned on this forum. I got it from TGx. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13005652/
