  1. Had a flight booked for 2021. They had a 'reorganisation', effectively with deadline before my flight date. I'm still waiting to even get a credit for that flight...
  2. Then they thought again, changing the news to only '7,000', i.e. cutting earlier announcements by more than three quarters. - They had to explain, however, previous lofty numbers, so they 'shifted' the balance to 'domestic arrivals'...
  3. Turning the sheet upsite-down, will make Thailand #1 ...
  4. LOL. So, the "Thailand Pass" website will 'welcome' the tourists to cyberspace? Even there it is mentioned, twice or thrice, that one should register at least 7 days in advance, meaning that tourists who do this won't arrive in Thailand until the second week of November.
  5. Try dating Chinese women online. After 'Hi', their very next message is: "Can you pay XXX yuan dowry?"
  6. Maybe they've got him already, but can't present him to the press, as neither the vinyl board is finished, nor enough people back from holiday to do the pointing...
  7. As long as they do like Covid relief payment recipients in other countries, using the money entirely to buy Pokemon cards...
  8. Interesting. Would they also provide a certificate that I can show Immigration in Thailand?
  9. Yawn! Another food delivery service, by a bank... Why not a 'cash delivery service' (deposits and withdrawals); with the bank clerk coming to your door, saving one the trip to the bank or ATM?
  10. I agree. 1st November 2022 sounds realistic.
  11. Or Sungai Golok, not to mention Hat Yai. Anyone there, asked 'what Hat Yai is famous for', will just snicker, then say: "Garee!"
  12. That's why he ran for years a number of brothels that mostly catered to Thai johns... There are at least three different segments of prostitution in Thailand: 1. the local men's segment in all parts of Thailand, probably existing for centuries, 2. the brothels and massage parlours in the south (Songkhla, Narathiwat provinces), mostly catering to Malaysian and Singaporean customers, existing since Malaysian men have travelled to Thailand's southern provinces, and 3. the relatively recent (Vietnam War), and, probably, by far smallest segment, i.e. a-go-go and beer bars.
  13. China, Hong Kong... Psst... Don't tell them, but they forgot to add Macau and Taiwan to the list.
  14. You can try buying it. Don't be surprised to see very confused faces, if outside the Mom&Pop shops.
  15. Yes, and Thailand is also very popular with Laotian tourists, it seems.
