Two derogatory posts that were generally anti all Thai women was removed.

If you have some else to navigate then maybe a map is indeed a cheaper alternative but expressways get added/changed and old maps cannot keep up. A GPS unit with an up to date map can keep you hands free plus give audio directions. I have found one to be a boon personally.

A derogatory post removed. There was no indication that any official foreign police volunteer from any of the various services was involved and so no need to slur any of them. And for what its worth, they act only under orders of a Thai police officer in any circumstance.

While the issue of blackmail might, just might, be specious, the facts of the computer files and the cannabis will be enough for prosecution I would think so however well anyone might think they know the man he was indeed caught breaking laws.

Have you tried the temples ? I once met a Thai monk who spoke 5 languages and often find one that speaks English. Might even meet a liked minded foreigner there.

Your choice, of course,but to be seen in any way to be involved in "managing" a project without a specific Work Permit is in no way any different for a bar owner being seen to be overseeing his bar and many have been caught by Immigration officials etc. for simply that.
