Well that's just sad. Try not to take it personally.

It could be that she is very freaked out being in a foreign country.

Then with a bedridden husband to add to the stress .

It's possible her way of coping is to make you hate her in order that she can be free.

It's a sad situation for your whole family .

She might come around a bit later.

Dont take it personally,  it is  personal.

    10 reasons I LIKE Thailand

    1. Being married to a women who hasn't been spoilt or damaged by western standards and knows her role in a marriage without changing or challenging it, and is happy, isn't negative, jealous, or a ball breaker, and is a pleasure to be around.

    2. Being able to afford not having to work another day in my life here Vs literally killing myself by working 5/7th's of life, having worked between 60 - 80 hour weeks back in the production line, just to survive and put a little aside for an annual holiday, while everything just kept increasing except wages for the past decade.

    2. Being able to build a house 4 times the size of the old one, for 1/10th of the price it would cost me back in the old country, and have the time to enjoy living it in Vs being away from it most of the time.

    3. Being able to not have to pay any tax from my investment back in the old country, while living the life I always wanted here, pinching myself everyday so as not to have to wake up from living the dream.

    4-10+. Extremely affordable:

Water rates, Electricity, Gas, House Insurance, Car insurance, Diesel, Food, excluding imports, Alcohol, excluding imports, Women, entertaining you, Hotels, Cars, Motorbikes, Drivers licences, Extensions of stays, Speeding fines, Flight routes and choices of airlines.

    10 Reasons I DON'T like Thailand

    1. Annual extension of stay applications

    2. 90 day reporting

    3. Relaxed police

    4. Relaxed laws

    5. Double pricing

    6. International insurance prices

    7. School punishment

    8. Corruption

    9. Back burning in the country

    10. lack of education in Thai society

At the end of the day one has to balance things out and the LIKES outweigh the DON'T LIKES, so its "up to you" as the Thai's say, so for me, its more LIKES than DON'T LIKES

    1. is obviously tongue in cheek.

  3. Its been a day now since I challenged all the shxx stirrers to back up their claims that i have thai bashed. So, you have searched all my comment on TV , where is your proof. Put up or shut up. I may have criticized some things thai, as I do about any nationally, country, but, that is not thai bashing.

I'd be back home tomorrow to the UK if I could, but I have to wait for a pension to kick in at 55 to move my wife and daughter there.

As for boredom ? You try being in a house all day from 8 till 6 with a baby cause its too hot to go outside !

Start a topic about leaving just before you go, reading all the shit the losers will heap on you is good for a laugh. All the best.

You know the translation for Estadounidenses is "American", right? As for being called a norteamericano by a South American makes perfect sense from their perspective. Of course they could be referring to a Canadian or Mexican or Costa Rican if they aren't more specific in their description.  Sorry Keithpa. That's it from me. Good luck to you wherever you land.

    Thanks Lannarebirth, I think!

You have no idea. They have weekly specials and people drink with friends.

And $2 for a good beer is better than $2 for a crap Thai beer.

Then there's humdreds of whiskies and wines to choose from.

All the ones trying to justify their miserable existence here and falling flat on their faces.   " cheap beer, cheap young bar girls, wow."

I met a Keith once in Pattaya playing golf who was proper bitter and twisted, ex wife/girlfriend screwed him over, i made sure i never played with him again, a poisonous character. Probably the last person he would blame was himself, maybe he's going back to Perth

Ive never played golf in my life. And if your such a fool to believe that Keithpa is my real name, your an even bigger mug. So, if you still believe Im who you say i am, come around and take a swing some time, and I dont mean with a golf club.

So farangs living in LOS are "bums".....Yet you were a "bum" for many years....

Your thread has become clear....You are one who must now face up to old age as it is affecting you...I am an ol' guy too with a totally different attitude at the moment, which may change, who knows..

Another with reading difficulties, I never said all farangs, stop making things up. Old age, I am happy to be over the hill and not under it.

You said what I did not dare say.  Somebody once explained to me that Thai/Pattaya bashers we're usually.  'Postman Pat from Perth'

Substantiate that remark about me being a thai basher, pattaya basher , or has to  many Chang eaten your feeble brain away.

I used to go to Perth on business from Sydney regularly and then when I moved to Thailand I went there for visa runs when I needed them mainly due to the quick hop from Bangkok with Thai airlines.

A completely unremarkable dump sustained by the mining community so apart from being deathly boring it was insanely expensive. $10 for a schooner of beer (not a pint) and $200 for a 3-4 star hotel room and that was 10 years ago.!!!

What a stupid move. Within a month you will be back on social media but it will be Thai Visa to start your your career as yet another jaded international Thai basher. You know it ... we know it .

    Perth

I dont recall ever thai bashing, please explain.

Begs the Question why did you leave in the first place of life there is so fantastic?  Based on what you said I wouldn't have left if I was you. So where did it all go wrong ?

Rather dumb question, as to think that the reasons I did something 15 years ago would still be applicable today. Nothing has gone wrong, its just been life playing out.
