Maybe you need to look up the definition of verbal bashing. There is nothing critical in the entire post, it merely states the facts.

Thailand is known for sex tourism.

Hundreds of foreigners die in thai road accidents every year.

There is a lot of corruption in Thailand.

These are facts. My post is the opposite of thai bashing, in that I see the entire black market as a positive thing. Nowadays it is recognised by academics as a whole different  (but profitable ) economic system. You need a cup of coffee with a shot in the morning to wake up to the reality of life. mate !

Yes, I need to apologise, you did not verbal bash. " Verbal,  Spoken rather than written; oral.

Nice try, but its a fail, and your insulting comment about "a shot in the morning", says a lot about you.

How do you get thai bashing out of that.

Bash some sense into yourself man.

" At the end of the day, it is the blackmarket that has driven the Thai economy since always. It is a multi trillion dollar industry. Time will tell if thai economy can flourish without it. I'm not optimistic that it can.  ".  Short memory have you? You need to get up earlier in the morning to  mix it with me, man.

Thailand got so strictly normal these days.

You are oh so wise. And Thai bashing.

  5. Forget pills. Its all in your mind. Change your thoughts. Read, eg. The power of positive Thinking, among others. Thats how I got over getting all upset reading some of the junk on here from the keyboard warriors. And then, I packed up and came back to Oz, giving it a year, if not happy, will move on. Dont stagnate, change "friends " if they upset you, etc. Today may  be the last day of your life, so, live today as if it is the last. (I dont mean cry in your

    beer either).

    Interesting article, especially;

"Moving Overseas Before You Reach Pension Eligibility Age

If you live overseas prior to pension eligibility age—either parttime or full-time—your Australian residency may change. If you plan to escape overseas again, this is very important. Note: We are not talking about residency for taxation purposes here. This is different. I’m talking about residency for Age Pension eligibility: The Age Pension is only for Australian residents therefore you have must prove that you are an Australian resident..."

Can any TV member please share how the authorities determine whether you are still an Australian resident.

Is it purely time outside of OZ, or.....?

Do they check Taxation records, specifically whether tax returns have been lodged every year that you have been outside OZ?

    Any other factors?

Is there in fact a specific process / document that needs to be completed to become a non-resident? Or does a person automatically become a non-resident because of specific items / factors?

    Thanks.

    Yes, that is correct.

Sorry, I am not a native english speaker..

I knew the name business card, but being retiree, I looked in the dictionary and found either visiting card or calling card..

    I hope you understand better

    Thank you

Anybody with an ounce of common sense knows what a calling card. Its just the key board warriors with nothing better to do making ridiculous comments as they are so bored. ( do as Im doing , go home, get a life not centered around a key board. )

Yes of course I would ask for another check letter.  I need a police report anyway as a requisite (for lost) for requesting a new letter.  Whether to level it up is not certain to this point this is why I am gathering some opinion.

Think for yourself. Your opinions as good as any ones on here or any other media site. You know what you have to do, you just said so.

    Well done thailand

Yes well done Thailand. Clear this scum away. We can't have teachers going near kids.

Where did you read they were teachers? Did it enter your mind that they could , and I say could, be pedos?

Pink pages originally owned by westerners then bought out by the chinese. hence colour change?

No, I was working  for them at the time, there was a world shortage of pink paper, so, had to go to another colour. A concrete company in Oz had entered into a big advertising campaign with Pink Pages, painted their hundreds of vehicles pink, and advertised "Think Pink". They are still pink but the "think pink" has gone.
