No big deal. According to TVF experts, no one wants to come to Thailand anymore anyway. The government should just impose a total ban like many other countries.
'no one wants to come to Thailand anymore anyway'?
And yet Bangkok was the most visited city in 2019 surpassing London and Paris.

@BritTim I'm 37 years old. Yeah I had thought Hong Kong would be fairly easily? Just spend a week to ten days here. Chill, enjoy the sights, get my visa and go back to Thailand.
@darrendsd & @at15 The most recent online statement that is available for me to download is back from May 2017. I understand what you guys are saying but I'll just lose my cool if they start giving me crap about the statement is not recent enough.
I figured just go back on an exemption and apply for the Thai Elite Visa. I had already contacted Thai Elite before I left this time around and the process seems fairly easy and straight forward. In fact I would apply from Hong Kong to avoid the visa exemption hassle but I have to get back by the 15th of September to pay my rent.
Thanks all for the responses. Very much appreciated.

@ubonjoe Yes that's correct. I only have the one visa exempt on my very first arrival to Thailand last year.
Thank you for the advice and quick response ubonjoe!

Hello all.
Could anyone please give me some advice?
I've been in Thailand for almost one year now. I have:
British PP
1 visa exempt + extension (left after two weeks into extension)
2 SETV Yangon + extensions
1 SETV Penang + extensions
I am currently in Hong Kong but the Thai consulate here is asking for a bank statement for my fourth SETV, which I don't really want to provide. I have a large amount in savings and I transfer a little over to my current account each month. As of today I can only provide an online statement of my current account from the past 3 months in which I only keep about 1K-2K GBP at a time. I wouldn't be able to show a statement for my savings account.
Anyhow this might not satisfy the IO at the HK consulate and I just don't want to deal with the hassle anymore.
My question is would I be able to get back into Thailand on a visa exempt with my history?
Thanks for your consideration.

And if he did so what? He's the PM of the UK. And whether we like him or not his position as leader of the country is more important than your average Joe's.
