Yeah, the test is not perfect but is excellent if used correctly as urged in the article.
Can't see any reference to a 30% error rate though.
Error is a error, nobody officials said also your 2%, BTW who tell you 2% is acceptable if is your test ?

Don't think Phuket governor would support lockdown.
I am now thinking of level 3 for Thailand that if even those fully vaccinated will still have to do two covid tests upon returning home in addition to the five tests in Thailand, it is not a great incentive to come to Phuket both for the cost and the risks of being quarantined. knowing that PCR tests have a 30% margin of error

Level 3: COVID-19 High
- COVID-19 in Thailand May 19, 2021 Make sure you are fully vaccinated before traveling to Thailand. Unvaccinated travelers should avoid nonessential travel to Thailand.
Very bad news today, sand box Phuket is over now before start.

Not using dry mode. I do know the difference.
I already called the "chang" who installed it back once to re-install/top off the gas. Didn't seem to make a difference.
From what you all say then, this is not usual. There is some cooling, but nowhere near what I expect.
I guess next step is to call the company. How does one locate and call a "Daikin engineer"? The main company office?
All I can think of is that something is wrong with the temperature sensor. The larger unit was on sale at a surprisingly low discount, which adds some worry as to the model maybe having some problem.
Try resetting the remote "
But what temperature do you have in the room?

cant see internet banking helping.... not the issue.... to get money out of thailand you have, or had, to produce certificates proving it came into thailand......could take months of scb checking and they will be in no hurry to allow money out of thailand ...money made and banked in thailand I think cannot be transferred outside thailand......except by ATM withdrawals.......
I agree, I had sent some money to Thailand officially with a declaration of capital entry and when I wanted to get the capital I had here in the Bangkok Bank out, they did everything possible to hinder me and not let me export mine. money, I have since ruled out any relationship with this bank and stopped the inbound shipments of other money to Thailand.

No, I mean the fridge I show a picture in this tread it is Toshiba, and yes, made in LOS, but you can expect the management is from origine Japanese.
It is very likely that the Japanese management is in Japan due to Covid and still never returned to Thailand to make these mistakes

It's all true what you say but as a manufacturer you have to set a good example, and especially if it is a foreign manufacturer.
Chinese production I guess.

I'm not concerned about the house. She can keep it, sell it, whatever.
But I'd like to keep at least a 50% share of my assets if we ever part ways rather than just 25%.
And what a friend of mine got after the divorce decision of the judges 25%, I inform you that you are in Thailand so the law is made to the advantage of the Thais

That's ICU beds. ICU's treat critically sick patients. If you get in aa car accident, motorcycle accident, etc. They are not "beds". They are specialized centres.
What happens when ICU's are full?
Surgeries start to get cancelled. Have cancer and need an operation? Maybe it gets postponed. Need emergency surgery? not going to happen.
It's serious.
You are completely right, you know of some cases that died due to lack of assistance for Covid and I am convinced that the deceased in this last year and a half have many tens thousands of hidden cases in Thailand, which is very serious for doctors to conduct themselves against the Hippocratic oath. . The profession is getting closer and closer to charlatans.

Brilliant idea PM now you can follow the example of Sweden which closed nothing and had the same death toll as other countries, but as it seems you are two years late and your country is already financially destroyed.

Then Thailand will go up in the limbo of paradise, no prostitutes and no drunkards, I just have a doubt, am I in the wrong country?

9 months: Let's hope that that will give them enough time to top up with a Pfizer or Moderna booster.
Perhaps in 9 months it will be enough to overcome the Covid epidemic, the J&J vaccine however gives more guarantees of not having negative effects as it is still a traditional vaccine, so personally if I could choose it would be the favorite.

I have booked a J&J vaccination slot but to be honest, when I look at the vaccination schedule proposed by the different French places ( doctors, pharmacies and alike) I cannot help but noticing that this vaccine is widely available ( I am the only one on the list of the pharmacy I have chosen) whereas all the appointments were filled within minutes of publication for Moderna. This might not be a general trend but it makes one wondering.
I think this is due to the J&J vaccine which would have a validity against Covid after the injection of only 9 months according to recent studies, the other vaccines of 12 months.

The Sandbox, yes lets put our heads there since they are opening up Phuket Full on to include all entertainment venues, pools, gyms, and the ability to drink alcohol outside of your own home.
Four months more patience and then everything will reopen to the PM said his amulet advisor.

60 million J&J vaccines were recently declared non-compliant, France recovered them? Knowing that France is trying all ways to reduce retirees, if I were in French I would have some doubts about taking this vaccine.

Who cares about Delta variant. This is far more worrying:
https://www.thaienquirer.com/28808/beta-variant-cluster-spreads-to-12-provinces/
From that article:
The Poryani cluster, as it has been called by local news, has led to 111 cases in Narathiwat followed by 102 cases in Yala, 46 cases in Satun, 46 cases in Pattani, 36 cases in Songkhla, 18 in Krabi, 13 in Phatthalung and 10 in Nakhon Si Thammarat, nine in Surat Thani, five in Phang Nga and three each in Trang and Phuket, the CCSA said.
In terms of vaccine effectiveness against the Beta variant, Dr Supakit said the AstraZeneca vaccine, which is becoming Thailand’s main vaccine, has only a 10.4-per-cent chance to protect against infection from the Beta variant and it cannot prevent severe symptoms.
A study also showed that the level of protection offered by the Sinovac vaccine, another main vaccine in the country, dropped by 70 per cent against the Beta variant, he added.
Admittedly only one case detected in Phuket, but that's detected, right? How many are silently spreading it and not detected? It will be the end of tourism for Thailand if tourists come, fully vaccinated, only to be infected by variant for which their vaccines are near completely useless.
In other words, vaccines are no longer useful, better put your head in the sandbox, and wait maybe we are lucky.

The PM has finally understood that closing the country when Covid has settled everywhere has become counterproductive for the economy, therefore reopening everything is the most logical solution in order that the depression does not reach a much more serious crisis.
The problem is now reversed since the western countries where the virus is decreasing a lot will not want to import the covid from Thailand and it is likely that they will now impose the two weeks to return.
So as always Thailand will miss the train.
