  5. It is correct. All foreigners entering the Kingdom must have $50,000 medical insurance which also covers Covid-19. The same applies to those living in Thailand who want to go overseas for a vacation. There was to be a CCSA meeting yesterday in this regard but that didn't happen.

  8. I understood that when Sinovac stock was depleted end of this month that no further supplies would be ordered and now the FDA is awaiting the submission of safety and efficacy data from Sinovac in order that this can be administered to young children. How much stock do they actually have left?

Thailand not eligible to produce generic Molnupiravir anti-viral drug Thailand is not eligible to produce a generic version of Merck’s Molnupiravir anti-viral drug, which is shown to reduce hospitalisations and deaths among COVID-19 patients by 50%, because it is classified as an upper-middle income economy according to the World Bank, unlike other ASEAN neighbours such as Myanmar, the Lao PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia, which are low to middle income economies.   21. UPDATE: I’ve just had this confirmed by the TAT and the MFA about unvaccinated children. For Test & Go they are exempted from the quarantine rule if under 12.   24. Yes, all long term foreigners residents in Thailand and tourists from overseas will need the $50,000 medical insurance to include Covid-19. I understand there is a CCSA meeting today to discuss the above.
