Taken from today's Thaienquirer summary: Meanwhile Public Health Minister – Anutin Charvirakul, has come out to say that he’s thankful to all sides (opposition and others) for recommending not to ride on a single horse but to diversify the vaccine procurement and this has paid of as we have all sorts of vaccine now. Thailand under Anutin’s management had only gone for the ineffective SinoVac and the AstraZeneca that is produced by Siam BioScience (a company owned by HM the King) as the only vaccine for Thailand until the public and opposition called for diversification of vaccine procurement as the DELTA variant spread like wild fire. Anutin came out to say yesterday that he was thankful for the recommendation which has helped Thailand procure all kinds of vaccine now. He himself said that he was going to take his 4th dose, as he took 2 does of SinoVac then 1 dose of AstraZeneca but he is set to go to Switzerland later this month and Switzerland does not allow this mixing therefore have to get 4th dose before he goes there. https://www.thaienquirer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Thai-Enquirer-Summary-November-11-2021.pdf

Today’s special newsletter is about the nightmare that falls upon you if you test positive on arrival in Thailand. This is what happened to Kirovs, a tourist who came to Thailand with his family. He is now in hospital and his family are in hotel quarantine. The second story is from James who is considered a close contact as he was in the same car from the airport as someone who tested positive. Neither of the people who tested positive have any symptoms and they are now desperately trying to find out if their insurance will cover the large hospital bill. https://www.getrevue.co/profile/richardbarrow/issues/the-nightmare-of-testing-positive-on-arrival-in-thailand-848695?via=twitter-card-webview

CW asking for proof of vaccine
anchadian replied to pontious's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
A heads up for people going to Immigration at Chaengwattana. They are now asking for proof of vaccination. The sign says (in Thai) left for unvaccinated and right for fully vaccinated. If you cannot show proof then you need to fill out a form. https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1457902169277943810
