  1. Let’s all suspend reality and memory. Immigration wasn’t a key issue in the 2016 Brexit Leave campaigns. Or alternatively 2016 wasn’t more than three years ago. Or Mac is talking rubbish.
  2. “"I can announce that we will abolish the Dublin Regulation and we will replace it with a new European migration governance system. It will have common structures on asylum and return and it will have a new strong solidarity mechanism," van der Leyen told European lawmakers in Brussels.” Yes, replaced. What the EU aren’t doing is introducing new laws that break international treaties and international law.
  3. Migration Watch. Righty-o And I mean righty, extreme righty-o.
  4. Correct, a complete loss of control. Coincident with the UK ‘taking back control’ and leaving the Dublin Regulation.
  5. Over twelve years to get it right, and still failing. But true to form. It’s always somebody else’s fault.
  6. Understanding the meaning of signatory to a treaty is more my thing.
  7. I don’t have a lot. Perhaps you should look for causes of the failures amongst the Tories that has been in power for over twelve years.
  8. Treaties that the UK have signed up to are not ‘outside influences’. I very much look forward to the next Government.
  9. Let’s stick with who is, or at least should be, in control shall we. Saves you spending time imagining who ‘my lot’ are.
  10. Precisely. The Tories have had over twelve years to fix this, they’ve failed. But with an election in the offing and the Tories lagging Labour in polls out they come with fingers pointing at immigrants, and the ludicrous suggestion that they, the Tories, are going to somehow fix what they haven’t fixed for over a decade.
  11. I think you should do likewise, paying particular attention to the UK being a signatory.
  12. Nothing will happen before the election, the Government will continue to fail on immigration and Reform UK will benefit from the Government promoting their own failure on immigration.
  13. Try to think of a better argument for when you come back. Focus on who is in Government and supposedly in control with a massive Parliament majority.
  14. Sorry for sticking to the facts. He didn’t mention policies, he definitely did not mention Nazis. Rightwing fabricated outrage threw those into the pot.
  15. No, they’ve failed because their hair brained schemes failed. A Government with a massive majority in Parliament is not being held back by any opposition.
  16. Regardless, Lineker was referring to language used, not policy, not the Nazis.
  17. That’s not a problem with Lineker’s statement, it’s a problem with the Government’s loss of control over the UK borders. Or to put it more simply for you. It’s not Lineker who has failed to control the borders, he doesn’t control the Home Office, Border Force, the Royal Navy, the Police Force or the National Budget. The Government do, and they’ve failed on immigration and control of the borders.
  18. The plaintiffs in both cases can ask the court to apply punitive damages which in in NY limitless.
  19. ‘The powers that be’. Are those the same powers that be who had him censored?
