  1. Because the late 1970’s is the inflection point at which neoliberalism and trickle down economics were introduced and after which wealth inequality accelerated.
  2. Bernie Sanders has responded. Look it up, he nails Trump’s lies and failure to address the issues that are impacting tens millions of Americans.
  3. The wealth of the UK has indeed been redistributed, from the working class and middle class to the rich. Who’d have thought a war impact in the supply of energy to the German economy would effect economic growth? While at the same time Biden was spending $Billions on infrastructure projects boosting the U.S. economy. I look forward to seeing the actual outcome of Trump ‘rooting out waste’ the early signs aren’t looking good.
  4. Trump confirming Musk is the head of DOGE, contradicting his administration’s court filings was a moment to be thankful for.
  5. It’s a frequent argument made in this forum by those keen to scapegoat migrants.
  6. I agree entirely. Though it seems gum-shoeing comes a close second.
  7. Ah the lazy work shy migrants, who we are told are living on benefits and being accommodated in five star hotels are driving up house prices.
  8. Yes, the working class and middle class in the UK are also being stripped of their wealth while the rich get richer and wealth inequality increases. As in the U.S. the cause is neoliberalism and the lie based ‘trickle down economics’.
  9. And incapable of learning any lessons from those wars.
  10. As things are going US troops in Europe are looking increasingly like the forces of a hostile power
  11. More interesting will be the polls in the coming weeks and months.
  12. I look forward to you finding any comment from me made during the Obama presidency.
  13. The ousting of Zelenskyy is one. Are you not paying attention?
  14. Forgive me for pointing out Vance’s hypocrisy. No, Russia have not invaded my homeland. I do however support Ukrainian patriots fighting for their freedom from Russian tyranny. Not being one of the sniveling appeasenik like so many on the right have become.
  15. Just listen to Trump, he’s voicing Putin’s requirements.
  16. How about this alternative: Trump invites a Russian News Channel, that doesn’t have a media pass, to live stream from the White House. Then Trump, Vance and MTG’s boyfriend set Zelensky up for a humiliation, live streamed to Putin. Trump doesn’t get the mineral deal he was supposed to be getting but he does please Putin. The EU conclude Trump is working for Russia.
  17. That’s the same JD Vance who last week was telling European political leaders they need to listen to their voters. Running and hiding from a bunch of voters waving placards.
  18. That’s tens of $Billions more than the aid the U.S. has given which anyway is for most part weapons and ammunition. Much of the ammunition is buried in hapless Russian cannon fodder.
  19. I suggest you pay attention to what’s going on in Republican ‘Town Halls’. Though be quick before the Republicans stop holding ‘Town Halls’ to avoid hearing voter’s opinions.
  20. So that’s the second message of support for Putin in a matter of days. The first put US allies (well most of them) on notice that the US cannot be relied upon when attacked by an enemy. The second confirmed the first but added the notification for now former US allies not to build their military systems with U.S. supplied weapons or ammunition.
