  1. In his first term of office (as President) Trump withdrew the U.S. from the treaty with Iran that Obama had negotiated. He absolutely was President when he did so.
  2. Once again you engage your fertile imagination of what I might or might not know. All to cover up a statement you make that you are unable to substantiate.
  3. Yes it’s about taxes, stripping funding from education assistance to the most impoverished districts in order to fund tax breaks for the wealthiest people on the planet.
  4. Yes the President can ask Congress to abolish a law, he can’t do so with his sharpie.
  5. But Jonny, that’s the point, they can’t impeach these judges, they don’t have the votes to do. If you had the most basic grasp of the actual process you would understand, the correct course of action is for the executive to appeal the rulings. Chief Justice Roberts has made that point, link provided above.
  6. No, I’m pointing out the obvious flaw in your post: “Well done GOP?” They’ve said they are going to impeach judges, they’ve done no such thing, it’s all theatre for dullards.
  7. Clearly you are no Constitutional scholar. The Congress makes and remarks laws, the process is not subject to Presidential edict.
  8. I’ll take your word for it, it’s not a neighborhood of the internet I frequent.
  9. Autospell isn’t my best mate. Corrected to help you get to grips with the fact the GOP stating they are doing something and actually doing something are not the same thing.
  10. Schools in impoverished Republican controlled districts will suffer the worst consequences of this madness. Turkeys voting for Christmas.
  11. You are up for pushing back on other folk’s dangly bits?
  12. Do you agree with Chief Justice Roberts that the correct course of action is for the Administration to appeal rulings the Administration doesn’t agree with? https://edition.cnn.com/2025/03/18/politics/john-roberts-donald-trump-impeachment/index.html
  13. Jonny, the GOP gobbing off and the GOP doing something are two different things. The rest of your post is simply ill informed nonsense.
  14. Pure theatre, they haven’t got the votes, but nevertheless yet one more example of Trump’s ambition to dispense with the separation of powers and subjugate the judiciary to the will of the Presidency. Chief Justice Roberts called it right, if Trump is not happy with a court ruling he has recourse to the appeals process.
  15. Because despite repetitive claims to the contrary, EU member States retain their sovereignty, they are not controlled from Brussels.
  16. And yet you can’t show the basis for your claim that the Democratic left’ are burning cars.
  17. That’s not what the Judiciary agrees. The court ruling is his case shall be heard in the jurisdiction where he was at the time his appeal to the court was submitted. He was at the time in NJ.
  18. The court says he has the right to challenge his removal and that challenge shall be in NJ, not Louisiana: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2025/mar/19/us-politics-live-donald-trump-republicans-democrats-elon-musk-latest-news
  19. Again, I suggest you go back and read my post on what I believe is actually at play. You can then address what I’ve said, not what you imagine.
  20. Hardly kills me because it’s not something I’ve said. Refer OP and remarks from Chief Justice Roberts.
  21. Here you go: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/elon-musk-government-worker-firings_n_67bcdabbe4b0fceb21221c78/amp https://fortune.com/2025/03/13/the-trump-administration-must-bring-back-thousands-of-federal-workers-fired-by-elon-musks-doge-judge-rules/
  22. Where have I stated who the culprits are/aren’t? Beyond my observation that someone already under arrest is obviously not the culprit please provide a quote of me stating who the culprits are/aren’t? Your inability to provide the quotes I ask for above will be an example.
