FFP leader might be the richest but he's connected to people more than all the others combined. FFP fella walked into my local bar in CM recently with his pal, drank whiskey and spoke with everyone. Good guy.

He's a real trooper. Look forward to what arms deals he'll be heading back to Thailand with. Already has fingers in the pies of the yanks and the Chinese but still alot of countries that'll happily deal with army dictatorships - Russia, UK, France for example.

$3,000. That's it. He's been creaming of LF the country for how long and he can only donate $3,000? Khun Bin, who's been helping out flood victims for a while now, donated 1,000,000 baht of his own cash. $3,000 from the supreme leader and $30,000 from Khun Bin.

He's about to go on TV to ask the nation to pay for flood relief. This is the same chap who's spunked billions of baht on tanks and subs with no clear or obvious threats, other than his own people in the south and those who were red. The man is a joke.

Have heard wine, and beer, making forbidden in Thailand, except by those named Singha, Leo and Chang.
Who said anything about wine or beer?

Not everyone can afford the extortionate prices charge for goods in Thailand. Plus, pirated movies and music, where on earth do people buy the real copies in Thailand as there very few dvds and CDs available in Thailand.

Has anyone on here seen bungs and airlocks for sale in Chiang Mai? I know they can be had on lazada but the ones at reasonable prices are all coming from China and I try to avoid buying from there when possible as I've had issues with Chinese sellers before.

The Muslims of the south may one day take to the seas. Best to be well equipped and please the overlord.

They're pushing up tax on safer alternatives as the couple familes who own the Thai alcohol and all the other beverage markets don't want to lose money.

Looks amazing to be fair. Also no one has the slightest clue what Budda looked like. Dipictions of Buddha from some places, Afghanistan I believe, show Buddha with shoulder length hair and a beard, whilst in other places he's a bald fatty. For all we know this girl's dipiction of Budda is the most accurate ever created.

As far as I'm aware the recent "terrorism" is homegrown. I can't imagine those poxy bombs around Bangkok the other week were the actions of disgruntled farang. Also, most farang terrorists are into mass shootings not bombs, see the US and New Zealand.

Powers that be have done a pretty good job of keeping this under wraps. They were probably just going to let all the peasants drown untill they remembered that said peasants are the same ones that keep the rest of the country fed.

Here we go again, the shops trying to pin the issue of plastics on the consumer. This problem is solvable but it requires strong will from the big corps to actually do something about it rather than just keep coming up with all these bs slogans that they do just to make it appear as though they care. Ban plastic from every shop, yes there will be grumbles at first, and eventually everyone will fall in line. When there's a will, there's a way. Maybe during the twice daily propaganda push at 8am and 6pm they can follow it up with a Communist sounding song about how great the environment is, how bad plastics are and that all plastics must be defeated for the good of the people, country and religion.

Oh, the money to be made! Each person having to purchase a new chip and pin card at the cost of 200thb. At least that's what SCB charge. You'd think the owner of the bank has more than enough personal wealth to wave the charge.

When the elite are trying to limit speech and freedom it is best not to have outspoken people around, such as farang. Chinese are welcome as they are more brain washed than the Thais and are bred to save for their masters. The Thai elite can only dream of one day having a mass population as obedient as the Chinese.
This is why I think authorities here are becoming more hostile to farang

Anyone who just walks out onto a zebra crossing is a little dumb. Even back home I don't just walk out onto zebra crossings, I wait, ensure that the cars are stopping and then cross when it's safe. Same rules apply in Thailand except you got to start slowly edging out into the road to encourage cars to stop and always look out for over and under taking scooters, sometimes they're impossible to see if Somchai in his Fortuner has 100% black out windows. Too many people in Thailand just run out over the road without looking. Zero education on the roads and zero education on how to cross them. Chinese are the same too.

When you finally wake up after your horrific accident, caused by the drunk underage motorcyclist riding a super bike the wrong way down the road, and you're handed the bill for that chopper to bring you into Bangkok Hospital, you'll wishing that you were dead. All the while the underage motorcyclist has been kind enough to bless you with his presnece and has come to wai and leave you 500thb whilst you were in a coma. And to make things worse, you have not been reported to immigration for the TM30 and you missed your 90 day report.

No difference in pricing or time. Still more expensive than flying and still take a long time.
