The "replacement" movie channels are 90% crap. Time for another competitive satellite provider to break True's assumed monopoly and offer high-paying customers what they want. HBO is not perfect, but what True offers as a substitute is absolute sh*t. 2000 baht/month? No way!

I noticed that the Paramount channel actually stops the movie in order to run channel promos. That happened to Urban Cowboy as I was channel surfing this morning. Yep they did that with Saturday Night Fever as well - abruptly interrupted the movie every 20-30 minutes for BS repetitive self-promotion, and bleeped out most of the profanity. Are we not adults paying a premium fee? 

Compared to HBO/Cinemax (which are admittedly a bit stale and repetitive) these token "replacements" (Warner TV, Sony Channel, Paramount, Fox Action Movies, Celestial Classic Movies, Food Network HD) are simply pathetic and mostly unwatchable. True Visions can expect thousands of complaints, cancellations and lost revenue. After paying for Platinum package many years we're now downgrading to Gold, why pay 600 baht more for a couple of worthless channels? and eventually if they don't bring back HBO it's game over. Torrents and internet streaming will replace their ignorant short-sighted <deleted>. They made a failed decision when it comes to expat customers. 

Clarkson has made a splendid career at being one of the most strangely charismatic &lt;deleted&gt; on British television. Top Gear made the Beeb millions until they went uber-PC and he punched someone over a cold meal ;-) 

Almost none of that is even remotely "pretty". Bunch of creepy fake tits, sliced up botox faces and chopped-off dicks attempting to hide social insecurity. If you want to show your "beauty" - be who you are, not some messed up facade created by the cosmetic industry which says you're not good enough as nature intended. 

Always amazes me what passes for "pretty" in some societies. Like many otherwise lovely natural Thai girls she probably watched too many Sunsilk and Nivea whitening adverts and believes that you're only "pretty" if you slice up your face, get implants and have eggshell white skin combined with an entirely delusional self-image. Ewwwww... ;-) 

It was actually "cold" in Chiang Mai the last week of January this year. A freak cold snap with temps <10C in town and everyone dressed like plastic ninjas.
