Earth to moon distance approximately 384,400 km. Do the math, that's about 35,000 hours or 1,458 days or 4 years *one way*. Hope they have room for all that sticky rice and naam plao. What a fa*rking joke, a country which can't even keep millions of drunks off the roads or supply reliable electricity and internet to all its citizens proposes to pull off this pie-in-the-sky hi-tech publicity stunt. 555 very funny ???? 

Once again it is either a minor "inconvenience" so what? 24 hours without a drink? Big deal - not. OR it's the principle of it, including the usual Thai hypocrisy and contempt for farang. When it comes to dual pricing (at national parks, for example) treat farang with conspicuous unfair discrimination even those who have lived here for many years, have work permit, legit jobs, Thai families, property, etc. But when it comes to nation-wide booze ban during elections which mean nothing and have nothing to do with farangs, nope the same law applies to everyone, we are all suddenly "equal" ????

With international tourism down to virtually nothing, the "high season" will be down more like 80% and a lot of Thais have lost their sources of income and even if they "travel" it will be mostly on a tight budget. Nope it's a stay home and hunker down cycle until a vaccine and politics facilitate a re-opening.

Thankful to  be "trapped" in Thailand for 16 years. Too many USAers are gun-nut crazy. Trump loves to make his followers angry and scared. He thrives on chaos and the misery of others. 

Notice how Trump's campaign strategy is now almost entirely about mud-flinging at Biden and trying to maximize the MAGA-hat crowd's anger and fear. It's standard practice for him. Promise non-existent policies while tearing down the opposition with shouty virus-spreading lies. 

All the beauty pageant winners are either half-breed farang/Thai "Luk Krung" or ladyboy Kathoey with tons of cosmetic surgery and fake boobs. Fair enough, now how about a "Miss Real Thailand" pageant where all contestants are 100% Thai females with no surgical or chemical alterations?
