No, it´s not wrong to post that you are loaded nor that you have an insurance. You missed the point! What is wrong, is to first state that people with tens of millions would just be stupid enough to burn it all without creating any protection. And then, in the second post say one have tens of millions and are well insured, like he is much smarter and all other ones with same much money are plain stupid.

It's perfectly normal to feel inferior. Lucky for me I'm not your average Joe. I'm so much smarter.

I do feel his username is hilarious though.

You know, that was not the point! Ok, if you done that yourself, why would you then post like you did. Do you see yourself as superior over others with the same amount of money, that you claim you got. Everyone is stupid except you, right?

Why is it the truth angers people. The guy has what he has and posts it, is that wrong?

Well at the gym it seems like many do the following:

    1) Look at themselves in the mirror  at least once every 5 minutes

    2) Take a selfie and then more selfies

    3)  After walking on the threadmill like a grandma for 10 minutes  they act like they had just run a marathon

    4)  Not wipe down gym equipment after use. But actually why would they need to wipe it down because they do not sweat.  It takes some level of intensity to perspire while working out.

    5) Sit on gym equipment while looking at their phones while others are politely waiting. I thought going to the gym was to get a workout and not working out their phones.

    6) Obviously this type of behavior does not apply to all Thai men but I have witnessed it many times during the years.

Or I am the weird one because I leave my phone in the locker.  The gyms I belonged to in the  US prohibited phones on the gym floor. Oh heck in the eyes of most Thai people I am weird one.

I doubt this kind of behavior would be tolerated at a Muay Thai dojo but the mid to high level gyms I have worked out at this is rather common amongst Thai men.

Most folks have their music on phones so there's that. I belong to a higher end gym so don't witness what you do.

Trump does not know how the stock market works, but I think you can go one step further and say he does not know how the economy works, and on a more important level he knows nothing anything about globalization and all the intricacies involved in manufacturing internationally.

There's a reason why that's taking place, there's a reason why manufacturing has shifted overseas. It didn't happen in a vacuum and that manufacturing will not return to the US, not during our lifetime. It is just a slogan and a concept that he used to very craftily deceive millions of people into voting for him.

It would appear at this point that Trump's seesaw approach to tariffs is having a dire effect on the US economy, thousands of jobs are being lost every day, the stock market is crashing (and believe me that crash has only just begun) and many countries are re-thinking their relationships with the US, realizing that the US is not the dependable ally they thought it was.

Many are avoiding visits to the US which could decimate American tourism, and many nations are likely planning their manufacturing in such a way that they are considerably less dependent on American imports, exports, and sales.

So where does that leave America in the grand scheme of things, and how badly could Trump's policies come back and bite him on his enormous butt?

In the minds of many of us Trump is grossly overestimating the importance of the US and the dependence of other nations on the US. Granted the US economy is still huge, but it's not immune to damage, it's not immune to punishment by other nations, it could start shrinking, and it's not immune to crashing.

฿15k - ฿20k m² would be a good range.  Less if lucky, but I wouldn't pay more.  Ours have been ฿10k or less, but the wife is an experienced, tough negotiator, and semi rural location.   Last build was contracted 4+ years ago at ~฿10k m², excluding land.

Land is a huge variable for home price, as has appreciated about 5 fold in past few year locally.  Again, that's semi rural, so the location location location thingy kicks in hard.

Yep, land prices are silly. 3 mil for 1/2 rai is a good price here for a good location. Did yours include all inside fittings like kitchen and bathrooms?

  6. I'm looking at either buying or building a house in Rayong area. In order to get a decent sized lot with house (250+ sq meter) I'm up in the 8 mil range so I'm thinking maybe buy land and build a grand house.

Just looking for an approximate per sq Meter cost of materials and labor for a solid build not to include all the inside extras as I know that price can vary.

Totally agree, but there is a world of difference between fentanyl/heroin and cocaine!

If you try heroin, I believe you are hooked immediately, and almost invariably become an addict (no personal experience, but from what I've read, and from people who have done it).

From personal experience, I spent a good 15 days with some friends in South America, doing coke daily, and sometimes copious amounts!

Got on the flight home, and apart from some slight depression over the next few days, there was NO overwhelming urge to go and find some, and get high again, when back home and back to normal life!

I know that coke is a recreational drug, and you don't NEED to do it daily.  Not so with heroin.  They need to be treated differently by authorities, IMHO.

We dropped anchor at Pattaya  1980, china white found it's way onboard. Was mostly snorted and smoked mixed with thai stick. We had a few hard core sailors who were needle veterans from before. Now this was pure heroin and not mixed with dangerous additives.

You're not immediately addicted with heroin but certainly requires self discipline to stop.
