I have eaten in America many times and had some pretty good food, most notably in New Orleans. Cajun and Creole cuisine. What I don't understand is the sizing of the meals, it's like every restaurant thinks they are cheating customers if the plate is not overflowing. I have to differ on steak, IMO nothing beats a grass-fed Gippsland eye fillet.

Authorities are guided by medical professionals in their response to epidemics. Dumb comment. Anecdotally, I was vaccinated as being in the most vulnerable age cohort. After the second vaccination, I got the delta version of COVID - perhaps the worst of the variants in terms of death rates. My experience was three days of a runny nose and sore throat, finish. Was back to doing my cardio exercises a day later. Since then, I have had two mRNA shots without any side effects, apart from an increased intolerance for fools. My GF, 23 years younger than me, was unvaccinated. She takes a lot more notice of social media than I do. She had the full gamut of symptoms for 11-12 days, and was seriously ill. After that experience, she could not wait to get vaccinated. I also had a friend, anti-vaxxer. He contracted COVID about two weeks after me. It took him two months to recover from confusion and fatigue. Prior to COVID, he was walking 15 km a day. Another statistic: The COVID death rate in the US red states rejecting vaccination is significantly higher than the blue states, I suppose you consider that is propaganda too.

Perhaps it was because the authorities wanted the spread of COVID to be contained, and not enhanced by people using an ineffective treatment, espoused by many quacks on social media. Please explain this statistic to me: During the peak of the COVID epidemic, an unvaccinated person was 6-7 times more likely to require admission to an ICU than a vaccinated person.

A tad on the expensive side, IIRC the pizza was 300 baht. Tried the Pizza Hut at the clock tower once, it was godawful.

Opinions differ. IMO the number of @rseholes on ASEAN seems to be increasing.

Sorry, have not noted the name. All I know is there is only Italian dishes on the menu.

The only thing America has perfected with any food is sheer quantity. I still remember a restaurant in LA called Claimjumpers. They had a sponge cake the size of a 5 gallon drum. If you could eat the lot, you got it free. I had other examples of grotesque servings of food there, it's no wonder Americans have an obesity epidemic.

Doxazosin does lower blood pressure quite significantly, it depends on individual sensitivity. I was prescribed finasteride and doxazosin by a Thai doctor. My Australian GP took me off that, substituting Duodart, a combination of dutasteride and tamsulosin. I have normal BP with tamsulosin, although it may cause orthostatic hypotension. The OP should seek medical advice as to whether he needs both meds. Duodart is quite expensive in Thailand, 1800 baht for a month's supply. Taking doxazosin with Viagra/Sidegra is a pretty good recipe for lowering blood pressure, I once hit 78/38 with that combination.
