  1. Check out Freedom Card. There are no fees whatsoever. With the basic tier card you get 0.3% cashback in crypto. You have the option to stake $Freedom tokens for interest and higher rates of cashback. For example if you stake 10000 bath for a year you will get 1% interest + 1% cashback in crypto. You will have to register on the Thai crypto exchange Bitazza + on the Freedom card website for this. No issues with a yellow book.
  2. Totally with you. Hate when people adding ice/topping up my beer without asking.
  3. I am a dual citizen and once the Io showed me her computer screen after biometrics scan asking me if I am a dual citizen. Both of my passport photos and data came up on her screen. Unlikely that they will let you in
  4. I highly doubt that they let you do that these days. Both Cambodian and Thai immigration now require fingerprints and photos upon crossing the border.
  5. AliExpress. The championship might be over by the time it arrives from China.
  6. You just die when the time comes. Cheap.
  7. Thailand is not what you think is. You get stopped occasionally and asked to produce a valid driving licence. If you haven't got one you'll have a problem like in any civilised country.
  8. Clearly the government hasn't delivered on the election promises so now have to spice things up with a good old nationalist crap just like in Russia, Hungary, Cambodia, China or North Korea.
  9. Yeah been banned from that group years ago. An absolute brain-dead bunch.
  10. For the one year multiple entry. The money doesn't need to be seasoned. At least that's what I heard.
  11. Have your photos saved on your phone or a usb stick and print your black and white photos. In case the Io doesn't accept the black and white you can still go to a nearby print shop quickly.
  12. Thanks for that. I was in need of a farang friendly Thai exchange and stumbled upon your post. Kyc was approved in a day. App looks good, a bit low volume but ok to cash out. The credit card is a bonus.
  13. I'm pretty happy with Roojai. App has English version. They also have English customer service over the phone. Price fairly cheap with options to reduce it further. Had one claim so far. They paid, no issues.
  14. Not really. Just always remember that life is not a clock but an hourglass and you never been this old....so try to get <deleted> done before time is up.
  15. It is probably the most expensive car park in Isaan though. They charge nearly a Thai daily minimum wage for a day's parking.. That was my point but of course not expensive for most farangs. They are running a very lucrative racket there. Understand now?
