ubonjoe: "If you still cannot travel to a nearby country when your current entry ends you could apply for a special 30 day extension since you would not qualify for the normal extension."
How many times can you apply for the special 30 day extension?

CM IO's must be color blind requesting forms to be hand scribbled in blue ink instead of clear, uniformed typewritten info.

Korean Air Lines have a tentative schedule to resume KE-667/668 Incheon to Chiang Mai starting on May 1st. Hope it stays true as my wife's return trip has been reschedule by KAL to mid May.

As some posters have mentioned, K-Bank+ works, and just did my payment...no problem.

My recent experience to update/report my TM.30 was met by the CM IO that my wife who owns the house must report either in person at Promenada or do it online. When explained to the IO my wife was currently out of the country and was not computer savvy, he just waved me off and said I should do it online for my wife.
I was able to register online as my wife and was successful to report my latest arrival.

It is quite evident from SilverHawk's post that CM immigration is making it more difficult to change to a Non-O visa to escape the health insurance requirement. I recently encountered problems reporting my TM.30 after returning from the U.S. and staying at my same residence of eleven years.
What more will they be doing to us long-time expats?

Was at Promenada last Friday to do my TM30. The tiny office on the second floor was very crowded, people standing in the aisles. 90-day reports were being handled by two female interns (Not wearing any official immigration attire) who appeared to be trying their best. It was about 1030am and the queue number being process was in the 80's.
Online report is probably not reviewed by Chiang Mai immigration but a centralized office in Bangkok. That is my assumption, I could be wrong.

"No not first time of reporting already registered for TM30 reporting and have done it a few times myself. The officer said these are specific new rules from the boss whoever that is." Quoting OP #5.
Same experience with me today at Promenada. Have lived at the same address for 10 years but now the IO instructed me to have my wife, currently back in the USA, to do it online.
Does any one have an English translation of the Thai manual instructions to register and post TM30? The house address has been previously registered by the wife and is in the Thai immigration system as confirmed on previous TM30 updates.

What about all the other non-Chinese people who had traveled within China and now arrive in Thailand?

The Feb 8 expiry date still apply, unless you try to enter without a re-entry permit.

1.2 Immigration Form 87 for only foreigners who do not have visa but are allowed to stay in the Kingdom
Does the Visa Exempt Entry qualify to the above Form 87 to allow change to Non-O?

Have been in Thailand many years on Non-OA visa extension based on retirement. If I want to change to a Non-O based on retirement, what do I need to do? Leave the country and enter on a SETV or change visa type in-country?

A bit confused. If you travel domestically from province to province, there is no TM.6 involved. Does this invalidate your online input?

Recommend to get your reentry permit now at Thai immigration office. You have one month before you travel. This will negate the hassle and rush to process through passport control at Swampy.

It would have been interesting if you had only presented your income affidavit and see whether or not the IO would want supporting docs of which you had well prepared.

Be sure to sign all forms and copies in blue ink.

No! The re-entry stamp shows only one entry allowed. You used it when you left and re-entered Thailand.
