Has she ever been to the UK?

Take her on a mid autumn fortnight to Bradford and let her figure it out herself.

Live quite south but this is my plan, let her visit for 2 weeks and go around every <deleted>hole there is

Edit> We both currently live in Thailand with decent income and accommodation

Tried explaining that we’d be working in supermarkets and wouldn’t save a penny.

Im sure she’d change her mind if visited, if not she can stay there and I’ll stay here

  2. Does anyone have any info about where's best to get translations done for marriage?

Google isn't helping with mixed information: -

Some people paying 800 baht, others 3000+ baht

Some waiting 1 hour/day/week for them to be translated...

Some needing just 2 documents translated, others 6,7,8....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If it is just staying at a hotel, get them to register you online.  If you are moving so often, why border? Unless you are doing an extension of stay.  Even when doing an extension of stay, the IO rarely ask you whether you are still staying in the same place once you have registered an address.

I needed it for a work permit, there was no receipt for a TM30 being registered (new passport)

    Won't bother from now though

Your previous posts indicate you are not anti cannabis, is this just your Idea of a worst case scenario?  I sincerely hope so.

How could it be proved that that ones usage was "recreational"   even if it was only available on prescription there are many "tame " doctors who would prescribe it for a fee .

The way I see it, the worst they can do is try to control who supplies it, and that will be impossible when people are growing at home.

I doubt very much that draconian punishments will return  , although i can see some further restrictions may well be issued to quell the concerns of the uninformed .

How keenly these will be be enforced also remains to be seen .

Its probably best not to think too much at the moment and to continue enjoying the current situation while it lasts

was just a joke, didn't mean it to cause so many reactions

Is it really necessary that each and every website should have its own button to toggle between light and dark mode?

Is it not sufficient that the web browser offers this function or, as lopburi3 mentioned above, the computer's operating system?

    Saves battery, helps the environment

The browser extensions aren’t as good as a well designed web page

There have been enough problems over the years after the "Techies" do routine updates on this website and  more than enough day to day glitches!

Please do not ask for any unwanted/unnecessary changes!

    Are they really unwanted/unnecessary?

If so why is nearly every popular website or OS now include them.

But yeah, the amount of updates probably makes it more of a challenge
