You would be best to do border bounce and obtain new 30 day exempt entry
So there’s no problem doing them one after the other?
Is it twice a year they will allow this?

Is it possible to use the extended 60 days, fly out and back again to get 30 days(and extend this too)
I would apply for a covid extension but been told this will make problems if wanting to change to a non b/work permit

photocopies of every document you have, including inside passport and current visa stamps

You take a bus to Nong Khai and then cross the bridge to Vientiane on the shuttle bus.
Hopefully the website for booking visa appointment is working soon
Before covid weren’t they appointment only in Vientiane?

plenty of bus routes as well
Starting next month, bus travel enthusiasts in Thailand will have 10 bus route options options in Laos.So have to wait until 15th June to get to Vientiane by bus

I should have used Acrobat Pro to edit the name on an electricity bill come to think of it, works perfect for that sort of thing
-
tried registering on that booking website, it doesn't ask for a password to be made
tried the forgot password after registering, no email received

is this to stop us filming the police?

I found evisa is extremely easy and better than prior options like mail in or in-person. Why would you upload a bank statement with empty balance and why do you think they would issue a TV without any bank balance? You don't have to upload UK bank statement. Any bank statement showing your name and amount will suffice.
Idiotic I know
I think I was using it under then proof of address section. They were asking for gas/electric bills only from memory, another thing I didn’t have

You are a Tourist, staying in Hotels im guessing.
Whats with all the paperwork for TM30?
Arent TM 30 easy to get?
This TM 30 just scares me to DEATH.
I stay in 1-month contract apartments when come to stay, so probably why I needed to provide all the TM30 docs

Is the evisa the only way to get a tourist visa these days?
I tried getting one a few months ago and was rejected as my UK bank statement showed an empty balance

You can apply or a non-b visa at immigration after getting a covid 19 extension since it is a extension of your visa exempt entry.
You have to get the 30 day extension before you can happy for a covid 19 extension.
thanks, yes I've already used the 30 day extension
I extended it just 2 weeks ago and gave them a lot of paperwork for my TM30, will the same paperwork be needed again? (I've kept the receipts for it)

Check out this thread.
Think ubonjoe posted couple of links you could check out.
I just wasn’t sure if a covid extension would affect the process
Also if I can still get a covid extension after already extending my 30 days to 60

No....
Your original entry visa exempt can change to non O based on retirement or marriage.
So that depends if you are 50+ or married to a Thai.b
However it would buy time.
At some point the TP and 10k insurance for reentry will be dropped.
The option I pointed out re Covid extension is far more simple than a visa run.
It's a no brainer.
so it can't be converted to a working non-b visa?
@ubonjoe is saying it can? (i think)

You could search requirements for covid extension.
Virtually same as the 30 day extension to visa exempt.
Same TM7 form..
1900baht.
They will provide you with an affidavit that has few tick boxes.
Select second option.
Which immigration office?
Khon Kaen
Can the extension be converted to other types of visas afterwards?

Why don't you obtain 60 day covid extension.
They are issuing CE till July 25.
Actually with your current permission of stay ending soon you can obtain the CE and another just prior to July 25.
That's basically another 4 month stay
I had no idea about this, do you have any more details?

I'm currently on a visa-exempt entry (30 days extended to 60 days) nearly finishing
What is the easiest way to do a visa run in June to get another 60 days? Flight to Phnom Penh, or border crossing to Laos?
I'm wanting a tourist visa, so I'm assuming I'll have to stay in a hotel for a few days to get the visa and Thailand Pass (I've had 3 vaccinations)

What do you mean all? Isnt TM 30 just one page?
the form is 2 pages I think, but supporting documents can be lengthy, such as tabian baan, rental contract photocopies
I was asked to submit my TM30 before applying for the extension
-
That isn’t 3 questions
I realise there’s a link to another website which most likely has the other questions, but if asean now is just going to post 1 (or 2?) it should change its thread title
-
Try and extend another 30 days at immigration, just use weekend as an excuse
They'll ask for all the TM30 docs too just to warned!

All I hope for is the dropping of wearing face nappies outdoors. It’s just plain stupid.
Anutin say must wear, even covi finish

1. Police checkpoints
2. Finger prints needed for visa
3. TM30 forcing me to be around other farangs (the new online system has recently fixed this problem but not sure about other provinces)

Okay thanks all, would ideally like a tourist visa but this way is looking cheaper and faster at the moment
