    Thanks for this info.

I live in a housing estate and some of the houses have daily rentals causing a big problem for me and my neighbours.

Our housing estate is only a sort distance to beaches and town so it is very popular for large groups to occupy the larger houses, sometimes up tp 20 people.

Could you please provide more information regarding this law.

    Thanks for the links.

These links are referring to rooms / Condominiums.

Does it also apply to housing developments?

Thais usually queue for the 91

The Thai's ride into the shell on Pattaya Tai thinking they are going to fill up with 91, for some reason this service station has barricaded the 91 bowser without fire extinguishers so you are forced to buy the premium fuel.

They queue for 91 but this is not available.

Why are they not selling 91,must be making a fortune selling only premium.

    Can anyone explain.

Yeah, I already replied to blackcab.... back when benzene was phased out it was only Shell that kept selling it.... and now they don't..

Good to hear PTT is now selling it as I plan to buy another bike soon.

OK, so they are selling cheap 95  for a rip off price................Do You Agree?

  6. I live south pattaya and go to the Shell petrol station regularly.

Many years ago the guys would fill your tank without zeroing the bowser, so you'd end up filling your Mio for 200 baht.

Now they got me many times, i'm at fault for not being that clever. LOL

Now they have been (for some time now) closing the 91 bowser and only selling 95.

At any other station No Big Deal as the price difference is not a lot, 1 baht or so.

Pattaya Tai Shell Petrol station marks up their 95 another 5 to 6 baht, not a big amount but it must add up over a day, a week, a year.

I'm getting really tired of people saying the yellow book is good for nothing. Yea of course if you have your wife holding you're hand all over the place or you can't do f... all on you're own it don't matter to you, does it?. Banks, Amphur office, electric office, land office or any government offices ask for it.  It is for sure a good thing to have when living in a house alone.

You don't necessarily need a Yellow book for the above - "Banks, Amphur office, electric office, land office or any government offices "

All the above can be done with either your passport, Thai Drivers Licence or Blue Book.

Oh dear, was it the French Bakery you spoke highly about recently, the one located in Jomtien Complex?

You used to love that bakery and tell everyone how wonderful it was.

    Jomtien Complex no existe

Ha, ha, who are you kidding?

There is a sign above the management office (Jomtien Complex) 3 shops down from the bakery.

We all know you love the new sign “Jomtien Walking Street” but it will always be Jomtien Complex.

The west ain't that good a place for young people these days.

I'm hearing similar from friends back in Aus.

I was looking at going back due to the offshore work drying up, lots of jobs in Aus for me.

I have a good English friend, I met him here. He was working as a teacher here and has a Thai child, he got a job in Australia and now works as a teacher in QLD, he has nothing nice to say about the school and the students. the kids a very disrespectful.
