  1. How many people search for your product or service in Google per day? How many potential customers are you loosing per day due to not being in the first position in Google for your desired keywords? If you don’t know, PM me and I’ll tell you.

I’m going to keep this short otherwise I’ll end up writing a novel on my 7 year progress with promoting web sites on-line.

I currently promote my own portfolio of sites that produce a comfortable income and I am willing to offer my expertise and knowledge to a company that is looking to increase their on-line marketing potential.

    Just how good am I?

There is only one way to find out: let me show you my sites that are in the first positions on Google and Yahoo for very competitive keywords. I will also show you my other internet marketing strengths including: Keyword selection and research, improving usability issues, viral content creation, link acquisitions, on-line PR and analyzing user data to improve ROI.

Why would I offer my expertise to another company?

I’m now in need of a work permit and B Visa to continue my stay in Thailand but do not want the hassle of opening a company and employing staff. I would like to find a partner whereby I offer a non-paid part time position to drive your on-line marketing efforts forward in return for a work permit and business visa.

Please PM me and I’ll happily explain more details on the benefits of us working with each other. I’ll also provide you with my impressive internet marketing portfolio.

  2. I’ll be going to do some biz for a month in HCMC and have a few questions…

Can anyone recommend a nice apartment to stay in?

Apart from Bangkokair, what other airlines fly to HCMC?

Can I get a visa upon arrival or should I get the visa sorted before hand in BKK?

Is there “entertainment” in HCMC to keep me busy with? :o

    Thanks!

  3. Firstly, many thanks for the detailed reply... I owe you a beer!

I'm a little confused as to what 1 year Visa I can apply for in Hull, are you talking about a non imm O or B visa?

I currently have a non imm B visa but I have closed my company/business which means I'm unable to apply for another.

Do you know what the requirments are for this one year visa? would it be multi entry?

I really do appreciate your advice.

  4. Thanks for the reply torrenova.

The 90 day extension on my business visa. Will I need to apply for this i.e - fill out any forms or will it just be given to me?

Also, I am unable to get a one year visa. I don't support a thai wife nor am I over 50.

I did post another thread on here last week about the requirements for getting a non imm O visa. One guy said I'll be able to get it on the basis i have Thai friends. I told a few friends this who have lived in thailand for years and they laughed. I'm not sure who is correct.

    Many thanks.

  5. I hope some of you knowledgeable people can help me :o

My 1 year Non imm B visa runs out on the 24th May, am I able to extend it for another 3 months? If so, what is required?

Once the 3 months is up, I have no choice but to go on the tourist visa wagon.

If I got a 60 day tourist visa, then get an extension for another 30 days, what trips out of the country would be required? Can someone please explain the exact steps I’ll need to take?

When the 90 days is up, am I right in thinking I’ll need to leave and return once the 180 day period is up?

My plan is this: extend the b visa is possible, then head out of the country and get a 60 day tourist visa, followed by extending a further 30 days. Spend 3 months traveling around Asia then heading back to find work again.

    Many thanks in advance.

  6. A charitable event with falang companies chipping in prizes for a raffle prize draw is worth pursuing until you find a full time sponsor.

Any TV members got a venue?

I'll donate some web/graphic design services from my company if you decide to go this route.

    Good luck!

  7. I need to contact a Lao friend who is based in Vietaine. I have a 7 digit number that worked there but when I try from Thailand it doesn't work.

I've just spent an hour researching on-line to find the "extra number" needed for it to work. I've tried 10 or so possiblities but no luck.

Does anybody here know what I'm doing wrong?

    Many thanks in advance.

  8. Thanks for the responses.

Lopburi3 - Am I able to get a non imm O visa on the basis I have Thai friends? That means I don't need to marry? Also, why did you recommened heading back home or Oz to apply? Would I not be able to do this from Singapore or somewhere near Thailand? (Im in Thailand now and have no plans on heading home in the near future)

    Many thanks!

  9. From reading through the forum it looks like I need to either be over 50 or have a Thai wife in order to apply for a 1 year non imm O visa. Is this true?

    I'm under 50

    From the UK

Not married but do support my thai g/f and her son

Have over 400k in my thai bank account

Recieve over 40k per month from the UK

    What are my options?

    Many Thanks in advance.

  10. Thanks for the responses so far.

Instead of just closing it, I thought someone would like, as junkofdavid said, a shell.

It's an Internet Marketing Company. There are 2 sides of the business a) our own portfolio of sites (Which I want to take with me) and :o our recent venture working on clients sites. If I sold the business, I would include the later. The new owner can then start to build up his own portfolio of sites like I have done.

There is no way I would have been offered my new role without training the staff and their willingness to help, learn and dedication. This said, they are a huge asset.

  11. I have been offered work out of Thailand that I don't want to pass up.

Over the last 2 years I have been building my own business here in Bangkok and will either need to sell or close it.

If I sell, I will want to take the "revenue generator" with me, as it brings in a nice steady income every month.

So, I'll have ready trained staff, company web site, an office in Bangkok and a limited company... How much is this worth?

    Any advice is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  12. Hi all,

I want to rent a house in Udon Thani - Life with the in-laws is getting to much!

How would one go about finding a place here? I know in Bangkok that it's just a matter of walking around, however I'm not so sure Udon is the same.

Can anyone recommend any newspapers, estate agents, web sites (Most look out dated from a G search) that have up-dated listings?

    I would appreciate any advice!

    Cheers!

  13. Dumspro - Your thoughts on Thailander made me laugh! ... "Or maybe an SUV with special Thai options"

I'm currently in the Philippines with my thai g/f. Someone asked her if she was a thailander last night, we both just laughed. I didn't realise that all philiipinos called thai people that, we thought that the lady was joking.

  14. Some good advice here - thanks.

I've had a Sony Vaio for 2 years now and have never had a problem, surely if you have a problem the guarantee covers it?

The reason I'm going for a Vaio is the model (SZ) I want is super light weight - 1.6kg

Operating system shouldn't be a problem - I've read on the net that some shops offer an English version. What about the costs from each city? Where is cheaper?

Also, If I buy from Tokyo, will the keyboard have Japanese keys mixed with English?

I guess I have to weight up the costs. I've seen one on Ebay UK that looks like a good deal, but then I would have to sort out shipping - Will that create any problems?

    Thanks guys!
