  1. A week ago I saw a chart that had a better break-down of the different combinations of vaccines including boosters, but can't find it. The one below is the closest that shows the difference. The other illustrated that taking two Chinese or a Chinese and AZ then AZ as a booster had a very significant increase in effectiveness. But the two Chinese on their own or as a booster did not much. Two Sinovac doses boosted immunity to around 117 AU while two AstraZeneca boosted it to 207. However, with the Sinovac-AstraZeneca cocktail, immunity soared to an average of 716. Meanwhile, two shots of Sinovac followed by an AstraZeneca booster saw recipients’ immunity surge to 1700. Sinovac then AstraZeneca offers higher immunity than 2 doses of same brand (nationthailand.com)
  2. My experience with the expatvac website was similar to Klauskunkel's, except the day I received the appointment, I received 6 duplicates of the reservation. By that time after waiting a week and not hearing anything, I had also tried the Thailandintervac website and received an email appointment from Bangkok Hospital (Bangkok) within 3 days, and a confirmation, but no appointment from Bumrungrad until this past Friday (SMS message). So eventually I had multiple options, but had to wait a few weeks for two of them to get back with reservations. I'm in the over 60 group.
  3. I don't know if this is valid for all medication, but I had a doctor tell me that in Thailand you don't need a prescription, so I've been getting eye medication by going in and bringing along an old container.
  4. From around the web. The second link mentions a conflict of interest: https://www.thaipbsworld.com/does-thailands-deal-for-8-5-million-atks-pass-the-corruption-test/ https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/politics/2165699/opposition-targets-5-ministers-pm-in-no-confidence-motion
  5. Bangkok. The appointment is at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital Bangkok
  6. Just 30 minutes ago, after waiting patiently since Aug. 1, I finally was sent an email from expatvac about a hospital appointment to get a vaccine in two days. They don't commit to the vaccine offered, but at least it shows some wheels are turning. Just thought I would mention it, as many have waited and not heard anything. I am in the over 60 group, if that makes a difference. Just a note: strange...since the first email arriving, I've now received six duplicates; same day and time frames and hospital. I guess they don't want me to forget?
