And a saving of $3000 AU  a year in Travel Ins and around $4000 PA in 3 trips back to Oz , PA, to visit friends , which somebody said I dont have, and family.

With your aggressive and hostile attitude, it sounds like you may have the world's first case of pre-PTSD.  Pre-post tramautic stress disorder.   Kind of Back to the Future meets The Shining!

When I worked spasmodically in the Industry, I knew somebody who either knew Donald or was his agent.......he told me that Donald would work on any film and his fee was always 250,000 pounds, whether it was two months or whatever. I like that, he wasn't a greedy man, and he gave value for money, and he didn't price himself out of the market. Smart man.

Had some friends doing extra work on Phuket on a pretty regular basis, no work permits involved.....but it is the entertainment biz and they march to a different drummer.

interesting.  I particularly liked him in the Great Escape and THX1138

America is indeed a country. If you said it isn't, you're wrong. If Wiki said it, then Wiki's wrong.

You are welcome to call it whatever you want, but unfortunately you would be wrong.  The official name of the country is the United States of America. Although citizens of the USA call themselves Americans, they are referred to as "norteamericanos" or even Estadounidenses by the "Americans" who inhabit Latin America.  Of course, the term of endearment, gringo,  is often used as a substitute.  You don't like wiki? No problem, let's visit one of the thousands of other sources, https://www.duolingo.com/comment/3530261/Americano-vs-norteamericano-vs-estadounidense.  As for your  Mexico example, all Mexican official documentation, including passports and government documents  refers to the country as Estados Unidos Mexicanos.  The citizens refer to themselves as Mexicanos.  Teaching moment over.

Rather dumb question, as to think that the reasons I did something 15 years ago would still be applicable today. Nothing has gone wrong, its just been life playing out.

It's better to play the hand you are dealt rather than letting the hand play you.

America is not a country, but per wiki, "Americas (also collectively called America) comprise the totality of the continents of North and South America. Together, they make up most of the land in Earth's western hemisphereand compose the New World."

My ex cheated on me, I went to my Solicitor to see whether the affair would be a mitigating factor in the subsequent asset settlement. He said that the family law court couldn't give a rats who cheated on who, the only thing that mattered was who had what income. She subsequently hit me up for additional support and ended up walking away with over 80% of the assets and I had to pay her an additional 8K/month for 3 years, then normal CSA. She ended up about 900k better off and I ended up starting again. Painfully true story.

Sounds like you had the wrong lawyer. The deception matter would have to be filed in a separate procedure and court case, not in family court.  Any good lawyer would know that.

i come from a first world country, a EU member, and as such,

any dutch/french caribbean paradise island is mine until i'm dead.

40k baht for visa cost every year plus medical cost offset any potential extra cost

in caribbean, not that i think western food is more expensive in caribbean

Given the hundreds of wars there in recent history, there are many who would dispute that this is the "first" world as you say.  Far from it!

You're the one who brought it up. How about backing it some with some facts?

If you think someone who has an affair after 20 years of marriage can get charged with

fraud and be stopped leaving the country, you're living in laa laa land.

Sorry, I don't take instructions or do pro bono research for unknown strangers on a web forum.  Rather than  twisting my words, get off your butt  and do your own research!
