  1. Most Thais I know are unconcerned and ignorant of wars and stuff outside their coconut but one did tell me about "terrible" Russia attacking "innocent" Ukraine. I didn't want to spoil her mood by talking about Donbas and the rapes and killings there since 2014. People like there wars clean - this side is GOOD and that side is BAD. Simple isn't it?
  2. Mitigation? I worked in hospitals for 30 years and a simple name tag on the toe of the cadaver suffices. Mistakes can happen but don't make up pathetic excuses just say SORRY.
  3. There are some thinkers who feel as you do. The ones who love this war have no clue as to the history of Zelensky and his Azov boys raping and killing in Donbas since the USA coup of 2014. Very sad situation. All they have to do is declare neutrality and not be USA's poodles and it stops.
  4. I think neutrality in a war that is nothing to do with them and far away is a very SENSIBLE stance by Thailand. In fact the first thing Prayut has got right. This is a senseless war brought on by USA shenanigans and now innocents are dying. Stay out of it Thailand!
  5. I like Davao too (but not many bars) but I think Cebu is nicer overall. However when I was last in Cebu many of the bars I used to go to were shut down so I got lazy and went to Angeles and Subic for my fun.
  6. Problem with Pattaya is burn-out (assuming you like bars). It's a place I visit yearly but to live there would send me to an early grave.
  7. Noooo I have lived here nearly 15 years nothing wrong with the bars (pre covid).
  8. I have been to those places countless times but is now a good time? I must say moving around once retired will get old quiet quickly.
  9. Do you mind me asking how old you are? it does make a difference - I'm assuming 60+ and that could be a difficult thing with no husband etc. but if you are financially bereft hopw to move? the only thing id suggest is moving into a condo in the city? good luck
  10. I live alone and have done so since arriving 10+ years ago. A studio is too cramped in my view. I like being alone as I prefer changing my women as I wish although as one ages I understand that this perspective does change. I find Thai girls very flexible in this regard as long as they are treated with respect, honesty and some reward. People who need someone to stay with them are... well... needy. I am not but each to his own.
  11. Well... Some like Toms it's true but not many, most like Dick and Harry is with Megan
  12. The biggest difference is they are much more 'flexible' here (and because of that I get laid a lot more).
  13. 'the young and attractive ones' will want anyone who has the means to support them - it's an exchange but I do get bored with the ugly, old farangs with a beautiful 20 years+ pooying under their arm trying to say "she really loves me" - yes she might do but no money, no honey and like it or not that is a FACT.
  14. Another scum who thinks it's ok to hurt a woman - 3 years in jail but I bet not a single day. They will say "domestic and he's sorry" TIT
  15. Take a wild guess... maybe they should have said "speaks an additional two languages"
  16. Many of us do not have UK addresses - no family etc.
