I'm sure it's got nothing to do with an employee of a bar, or similar.
Could be, probably more than 1 person actually has it now in this area.
Only 1 is confirmed. So now there will be alot of tests carried out and finding out where this person has been and been in contact with

What tourists?
You know the 1000s of tourists that where crossing over the border daily before it was closed.
It has up to a 2 week incubation period before effects are shown.

Fast food suppliers closed. Great. Now perhaps people will learn how to cook as their parents or maybe their grandparents did, and reduce their size to what the homo sapien is supposed to be. Deaths due to obesity would be reduced and the health services given some breathing space. Even going back to beds for normal sized patients.
Either that or get food poisoning or salmonela from trying to cook and filling up the spaces needed in hospitals.

i paid 36500 baht return tickets for my wife and son last Friday when her visa came in they are flying into Heathrow , A couple of days before i booked the same flights were going for 28000!.
They are in the air now due in at 8-25 tonight i was panicking that their flights would be cancelled as i was due to fly back last Friday but the day before Gulf air cancelled their flights but they managed to get me on Oman air the next day! .
I normally pay around 48000 baht for the two return flights so it was cheaper because of the virus!
Very lucky indeed to book them last week.
See the price with oman now.

Skyscanner are still showing flights that arent available. You have to go to the airlines site to check.

These booking sites are not properly updated, they say that flights are available but the actual airline has cancelled them.
Or one leg of the trip is cancelled.
Did you see/read the story about the family stuck in bkk airport, there first flight got cancelled , then they paid 11000 quid for another flight, later to find out the transfer had been cancelled.
Its all good saying there is flights, when in reality, there is hardly any and if they are available they are way over the price people can afford.
Stay put and wait,
Plus, why would you risk travelling maybe from another province on a bus or a plane to get caught out either by catching the virus or finding out the flight is cancelled.

You wouldn't be able to do it all over again though!
My definition of 'which' Visa is wrong.
Marriage does not give you any legal right to stay permanently in Thailand.
It should do like in other countries. These immigratiom rules havent been changed since they implimented them many many years ago.

And i read an article yesterday that the chinese are getting ready to travel again. Lets just go round in circles until the whole world population has the virus.
Thailand will probably be the first country to let them back in.

Cool, so i can get unlimited 60 day stamps with my kids docs. But usually they ask for the kids to be there, do you think it'll be ok if they're not with me?
The government has advised children under 5 not to venture out.

Well we can see the remaining airlines still flying here to stop their services pretty soon .. no point in them continuing flights to BKK now ..
Still nothing said about the foreigners that are already here and on various types of visa's.

I have just read your text at least 20 times and I still can't believe it.
My kids are 6 and 8 and I'm doing Visa Runs/Bounces for about 10 years
every 3 months. That was never necessary??OK, to get it 100% correct. And really, thank you very much for all the help!
Here my Situation:
- At the moment I have a Non-Immig. "O"
- Its Valid till 20.4.2020.
- My last Boarder Bounce was at 10.1.2020.
- Passport and TM6 Stamp is valid till 8.4.2020.
- Normally i would do a Boarder Bounce and get 3 months on top.Now I can apply for a one-year extension of stay based upon for being the parent of a Thai.
Request Papers:
- TM7 extension application form 1 year?
- original birth certificate + singed copy from the Mother
- ID card copies Mother + singed
- Tabien Bann Kid and Mother + singed
- Signed copies of your passport pages: ID page, visa, entry stamp, departure card.
1 x photo 6 x 4.
- 400k Thb at bank
- 1900 THBIs that correct?
I dont think its easy as the marriage one, i think you have to be legitamized as the farther of the child, which takes a long time to sort out. Unless its all changed.

I believe the p.m will speak again tonight. But we shouldnt get our hopes up.
I believe foreigners are the least of the p.m's concerns at the moment.

As the title says, i wonder how long the embassies will give these letters out for?
Is there a set time limit on when u have to use it by?
Can they be used more than once?
What happens in another month when people have used this letter to extend and still can get home?
Another email to the embassy?
Hope the p.m anounces something to help people stranded in Thailand tonight.
If we are lucky.
