I think at this time visiting cw would be a complete pain in the ass, and a horrible experience, just to extend 3 days.
But like mentioned above, there will be alot more police or military about soon , probably at checkpoints.
Its a double edge sword, damned if you do, damned if you dont.
How will u get to the airport btw?

U came in on a visa exempt stamp? U got 30 days?
u can extend this without the letter.
When u get this extension and this one runs out, u will need a letter from the embassy

Email the embassy back, they stopped asking for cancelled flight confirmation yesterday.
They updated it yesterday.

Im sure i just read that foreign nationals in the uk have there visa extended until june now. I will try and find the article.

I dont think there is anyway, try going to your immigration office and asking for an extension. I dont know if the south african embassy are giving letters to nationals for extensions because of covid

Will the Australian Embassy follow this example?
Ideally, the best and safest procedure would be - for all foreign nationals in Thailand to email a scanned copy of the two relevant passport pages (the personal identity and Thai entry visa pages) and documentary evidence of their address in Thailand to their embassy in Bangkok, and the Embassy email back a copy of the required letter.
And then, and this is really going out of an limb, the foreign national could email these documents to their local Immigration office, and receive back a written visa extension via email.
Efficient, simple, safe - I know, I am dreaming TIT.
If only

I used an agency, coat 5k for the service plus the cost of the passport. Had it back in 2 weeks after sending

Can I extend my visa exempt for 60 days at immigration?
based on being a parent of a thai national?
-
Yep, a simple letter for all british nationals in Thailand sent to to the head of immigration and passed on to all immigration offices would be a better choice.
There is no way im going home and risking infection or passing it on to my parents who are 65 years old.
I need to get 60 days extenion on monday, so i will wait to get this letter until the 60 days are nearly up.

The question is , did they pay import tax on this bmw? ????

Makes me sick.????????????????

Embassies are not linked with passport biometrics, so you could get a new tourisy visa in a new passport.
Its only at immigration check when u enter yhe country your history comes up.

I work with alot of chinese customers in my business and the majority have been to Thailand once and would not go back.
They are heading further a field now, alot of my customers seem to be opting for malaysia.

So do they want a bank statement, bank book ? Does it have to be a thai bank?
-
Im sure they start earlier for people who go to work in udon from nong khai. Myabe 5am. Dont quote me on that though

The evisa is easy and helps with not using passport pages with loas visas, there is a seperate que at the airport for evisa holders. Its quick. They just scan the evisa barcode and stamp you in. Id rather pay the extra money to save passport space.

6 weeks is more than enough time, took 2 weeks to get my new passport from when i went to renew it.

Just recently spoke with the consulate in hull about this, you need the birth certificate translated to english, thats what they emailed me, aswell as a bank statement, copy of passport, 2 passport size photos and the application form filled in. Didnt ask for any of my wifes identification.

I have always had non o visas, the visa exempt i got was the first one ive had in over 3 years. I might fly to laos and apply for a non o instead of risking getting denied at bkk.
I cant apply in the u.k for a non o, as i dont have a bank account in my name due to former debt and bankruptcy problems, i use my mothers bank, i also have a thai bank account.
-
I had been getting non o's to visit my kids, then extended for to months, then i did a border bounce for a visa exempt, then extended it, thats where i messed up, as the extension is 1 month not 2 months like a thought.
I was planning to come on a visa exempt get married then go get a non o based on marriage.

Hello all,
I returned home to the uk in September but I overstayed by 21 days due to my own stupidity, I will be returning next year in March to get married and see my kids.
will this overstay affect me getting a visa exempt when I fly in to bkk?

All flights should be cancelled everywhere, it will just continue to get worse. People are stuck everywhere around the world.
Governments need to stop all flights, give every foreigner a visa waiver until this is somewhat over the worse. It cant continue.
People might want to go home, but its just making it worse.
People who a stuck should be offered food and lodgings for the time being.
This is insanity.
Stop the flights.
