  1. I know I am going to get a lot of blow back from this but I feel it needs to be said for information. 3 months ago I got my first jab at Phyathai2 hospital. 2 weeks ago I got my second jab at Medpark Hospital. I used different email addresses but all of the other information was the same, passport etc and I was issued different Hospital registration/vaccination numbers. So when I received my second dose of Pfizer they would not give me a certificate of vaccination. I was scheduled for a second/third dose of Pfizer the end of September But due to some health problem I am returning to the US next week and will explain this dilemma to my doctor at the VA hospital for recommendation
  2. No I did not get a certificate. This is kind of a grey area and it might get a little confusing. My first dose was AZ and the second dose was Pfizer. I received these at different hospitals so they wouldn't give me one. I am going to the US next week to the VA hospital and will explain this dilemma to them. If I have to I will get 2 more doses these to get the certificate if something can't be worked out
  3. It's not nice to be jealous and hate. You need to laid down and relax your blood is going up. I felt my life was in jeopardy so I did what I did. Did my actions prevent you from getting your dose. Relax it's going to be OK mate
  4. Let me try to explain this in another way. If you had 2 choices you could save your life or save some ones life you didn't know which one would you choice? Maybe there are people here that are just jealous or don't have the perseverance or are just straight up haters. Due to my health condition your damn right i will take any avenue I have to to save my life. Covid-19 would be a 100% death sentence for me. I did what i did and i would do it again. People here <deleted> and moan that they can't do this or get that. Sounds like a personal problem. It's not my fault that the registration system here is screwed up and I slips through the crack. Does that have anything to do with you not being able to get a dose of vaccine? I don't beleive it does. Every since this virus has been in Thailand I have only been outside my house maybe 10 times in a year and half. And some one to run there mouth because I got my 2nd dose before them
  5. The Thai government has pledged to use the donated vaccines to inoculate 700,000 front-line medical workers and 645,000 vulnerable people – those over 60, pregnant in high-risk zones, or with any of seven chronic health conditions. Another 150,000 doses are reserved for vulnerable expats, with the remainder allocated for research and emergencies. Maybe there is a misunderstand or some of you are not reading the same news i am 150,000 doses of Pfizer reserved for vulnerable expats. I am 70yo with COPD if I would have been in the US I would have got the Vaccine back in January. But Thailand didn't respond quick enough. Since I am American Pfizer is a American vaccine and since the US donated it to Thailand I feel that I would be entitled to 2 doses. if you are from bum F*** Egypt sorry about your luck. There are some of us that can and some of us that can't. If you can't and your feelings are hurt what can I say
  6. Good then I hope you understand it has not been that easy here in Pattaya. In fact like I said I had to travel to Bangkok to get the vaccine. Plus as I understood it when the US donated the vaccine 150,000 doses was to be allocated to expats and the rest as the Thai government wanted to do with it. And some times in life you have to bend the rules a little bit. You should know living in thailand that the government might bend the rules once in awhile. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
  7. Well the only thing I can say some people are lucky and some are not. Perseverance might have some thing to do with it to. Most people on this web site do nothing except bad mouth Thailand and complain about how screwed up it is. If it's that bad here people need to pack there bags and go home Although i did get the first dose of AZ. The American Government donated the Pfizer to Thailand for Expats. Me being American I feel entitled to the Pfizer since my country donated it. If your not American sorry about your luck go back home and get your vaccine
  8. I am planning on going to the US in October for business. Does anyone know a good insurance company for my return trip to the Sandbox
  9. I received the 1st AZ dose on the 30 of June and the Pfizer on the 18th of August and have a appointment for the 15th of September for the 2nd dose of Pfizer
  10. You know some time in life you have to with hold information. As screwed up as the system is here one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. So to answer your question when I signed up for the Pfizer vaccine I did not tell them I had already received a dose of AZ. When I received AZ dose they gave me a date some time in October to receive the 2nd dose which I canceled now. When I received the dose of Pfizer the other day they gave me a appointment for the middle of September for a 2nd dose. If that's a crime then I'm guilty. The Pfizer was donated by my country so I feel entility to 2 doses of that vaccine. Some may disagree get over it. It is what it is
  11. I live in Pattaya and just got tired of being left out of the loop. I had to go to BKK but i got my first dose of AZ the 30th of June and got my second dose today of Pfizer and a appointment for the end of next month for the second dose of Pfizer. The taxi fare was 1500 round trip but that was better than waiting any longer on these people here
  12. I am not sure my first dose was AZ and my second dose was today of pfizer. They offered me a second dose of Pfizer the end of next month so I am going to take it. I am not sure how long you are suppose to wait in between doses. but the way this Delta variant is tearing through the country I don't think it will hurt
  13. I got my first dose of AZ on the 30th of June and today got a second dose of Pfizer @ Medpark hospital. Was in and out in 50 minutes every thing went very smooth. They scheduled me for a second dose of Pfizer the middle of next month. The CDC in the US is recommending a 3rd dose. I am 70yo with COPD the vaccine was free but it cost 1,500 baht to go to BKK from Pattaya to get the jab. That seems like a fair price to pay for something that might save your life.
