So where did ultimately 90-year Don move?
What makes you think that he has moved?

Back peddling now your 1st post stated the following "Won't gain even 1 MP. Same as the old UKIP (but with much less support). Farage is yesterday's man."
no mention of current or past in your post so as stated your 1st post was factually incorrect
Again you're showing a severe lack of comprehension. They were my assertions not statements of fact.
I asserted that they won't gain one MP at the next election. I also separately asserted (notice the full stop between sentences?) that Farage's Brexit party is essentially the same as the old UKIP party but with less support.
Hope that helps.

Good to see that you admit that your 1st post was factually incorrect
As to Douglas Carswell he actually won his seat twice under the UKIP banner
1st time was when he resigned as a MP forcing a by election where he stood as a UKIP candidate and won and the 2nd time when he stood for re-election in the 2015 General Elections
I am not a fan of Douglas Carswell but at least he has shown more balls by resigning as a MP and forcing a by-election than the spineless lot in the Change UK – The Independent Group that refused to stand down and force a by-elections to allow their respective constituencies to choose if they want to re-elected them or not
Why is my first post factually incorrect? They currently have no MPs and it's my assertion that they won't gain one MP at the next GE. Suggest that you brush up on your comprehension.
Yes Carswell had the balls to defect from the Tories to UKIP. he also had the balls to resign 3 years later and admit that it had been a mistake.

I only drink spirits in bars. As a Brit of Scottish decent, I have always preferred single malt whiskeys. However, as single malts are impossible to find in bars. I started drinking JD on the rocks and am now a compete convert to bourbon.
However, I'm only able to find JD and JB. Would love to be able to try some of the more "quality" bourbons.
Any suggestions for a bar, in Pattaya, that offers a range of good bourbons, would be appreciated.

Well in the 2014 UK European election results UKIP received the most votes 4,376,635 of any party
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/events/vote2014/eu-uk-results
And in the 2015 General Election UKIP received 3,881,099 votes which I know only resulted in 1 seat( although I do see remainers incorrectly claim that UKIP has never won a seat in the HOC)
Thanks for supporting my argument. UKIP gained several seats in the Euro Elections. At the following GE they retained 1 seat, Douglas Carswell, who defected from the conservatives to UKIP and retained his seat.
He resigned from UKIP in 2017, admitting that his defection "was a mistake". He didn't contest the 2017 GE. UKIP have only ever had the one seat in Parliament and now have none.
Although it was a much lower turnout in the Euros than the GE, almost 1/2 million people less voted for UKIP in the GE than the Euro elections.
Euro elections are always a protest vote and no guide to voter intentions at a GE....or a referendum.

And for a historically low turnout remainers will be blamed by the brexiteers.
If the anger is as high as claimed by brexiteers the turnout should be extremely high.
Brexiteers will clutch at any straw, use any illogical argument to support their non existent case. They are now suffering from extreme desperation.

Well, my experience is completely different from yours and it goes down to insects. But then again, It is a place of 70 million people, so finding exceptions will not be a real problem.
Cockfighting isn't an exception. Keeping animals in terrible conditions and mistreating them to enable them to extract money from tourists, isn't an exception.

You will have to wait until Friday 24th May
There almost certainly weren’t a million people on the People’s Vote march
Claim
An estimated 1 million people marched for a People’s Vote on Saturday 23rd March.
Conclusion
It’s impossible to say with precision how many people attended the march. However experts in crowd estimation put the number at between 312,000 and 400,000.
https://fullfact.org/europe/peoples-vote-march-count/?utm_source=homepage&utm_medium=first_row
Whatever figure you use, it was way way more than Farage's march.
The Euro elections have never been a reliable indicator of how people would vote in a GE or referendum for that matter. Expect an historically low turnout.

Keep up. UKIP are a busted flush and have been for a couple of years. Most recently for their association with your beloved Tommy (who you mention in almost every post).
Farage's party aren't, never have been and never will be a force to be reckoned with. Remember the march he organised and the photo of a few bedraggled die hards huddled in a field? Compare that to the ! million marchers who descended on Parliament at the same time.

Ah, that's what she said. But did it actually happen? There's a saying women can fake orgasms, but men can fake whole relationships.
Maybe you should have paid extra for the face she gave you with the other girls.
She said it in Lao. She didn't know that I could speak Lao (always a mistake to let bar girls know that you speak Thai and Lao) why would she say that to her mates?
I been around long enough and been with enough women to know the difference between a fake and real orgasm, believe me. Yes, bargirls do sometimes fake orgasms, primarily to hurry the job along. That wasn't the case on this occasion.

if you go back to the 2015 local elections which was the 1st local elections since 2010 and 1st opportunity for voters to show their dissatisfaction with Lib Dems when Lib Dems reneged on their No student fees promise and as a results loss 62.5% of their local councillors as a result
Voters are like elephants they don't forget when you don't deliver on your promises
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2015/results/councils
Agreed, so why was there such a large sing towards the Lib Dems at the recent local elections? Could it be that they are the one party that have strongly supported remain throughout?

Yes they do "reflect" but they are not evidence of reasons for outcome that comes later after qualified analysis. So what were the post numbers of your polls?
I've just posted 2 in reply to your post.

Again, completely false. 64% of Labour voters voted remain.
Just for @nontabury who seems to have extreme difficulty in believing the facts.
https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2016/06/27/how-britain-voted
"The vote on Britain's membership of the European Union cut across party lines, with significant division within Britain's main political parties. Conservatives voted to Leave, 61% to 39%. Labour voters (65%) and Liberal Democrats (68%) largely voted for Remain but significant minorities went for Leave. Only UKIP, where 95% voted for Leave, and the Greens, where 80% voted for Remain, avoided significant internal divisions on the vote."
Sorry I had previously quoted 64% it was actually 65%.

Do you only read posts you agree with. I have already said imo "It's probably too early for evidence, the closest you will get is informed opinion"
I'm sorry but I didn't see your 2 pieces of evidence on voting intent only outcome, can you give me the post numbers please. Happy to apologize if I got it wrong.
Sorry but you're making no sense at all, don't polls reflect voting intent?

errrmmm excuse me gents, isnt there a difference between making love and having sex ? Having sex is mostly self gratification, making love with someone you love, and loves you, is an entirely different thing....isnt it ? I know which one I would prefer, and you dont get it if you rent.
Not strictly true. The majority of bar girls that I have "rented" have got just as much out of it as me, sometimes more.
I can remember one girl, returning to the bar after a session upstairs with me, loudly proclaiming to her mates (in Lao), "he make me come 3 times!". Little witch should have paid me!

I think you might be confusing evidence with rearranging your prejudices.
You wish. I provided 2 pieces of evidence. You provided none. Typical Brexiteer, talks the talk but can't walk the walk.
Here are more examples of real evidence:

One of the things i really like here is the way Thais generally respect living things, And will hate to see them loosing this trait.
Never had it. For most of Thailand's history. cockfighting was the national sport. It's still huge here.
I can remember my wife finding a snake in the garden, I offered to put it in a bin bag and release it on waste ground at the bottom of the road. "No need" she said as she brought her spade down on it and cut it in 2. She's a very devout Buddhist.
Ever seen how tigers, elephants et al are kept for the amusement of tourists? Shocking, would be banned in any Western country.
Thais have no respect at all for living things. Typical Buddhist hypocrisy.

Not True, if you listened to any answers on BBC radio 4 on saturday Listeners respond to the issues raised in the preceding edition of Any Questions? many brexiters stated they either spoilt their ballot papers or voted for a party they felt best to run their local council.
For most people voting in Local Elections it comes down to do you want higher council tax and more services then vote Labour, if you want your council tax to remain the same and you don't mind reduced services then you vote Tory.
If so, why was there such a large swing away from Labour and Conservatives and such a large swing towards Lib Dems and Greens?

You have implied previously, that the local government elections are a pointer to how people think, while in the E.u elections, more people vote. Yet you say they are not relevant. This makes me very confused,I suppose i’ll Just have to wait until the end of the month.
The turnout will be much lower for the Euro elections than the local elections. Apathy reigns in Euro elections, particularly if there's a reasonable chance that we'll be leaving the EU antway. Always has been the format for expressing extremist views. Brexit parties and the Greens will do well.

mmm.....I think I hit a nerve and there was me thinking you were going to provide the evidence to support your claim.
The latest poll is the latest poll I don't see it's changed anything in the weekend press. The referendum was probably one of the most important political statements that has been made in many decades, a poll is just a poll as much as Remainers would like it to be a political statement.
Remainers continue to demonstrate they are all gong and no dinner.
6 hours ago, CG1 Blue said:What did you expect when only the remainers went out and voted?
I gave the evidence, did you? Brexiteers all mouth and trousers.

In the council elections how people voted does not explain the reason why people voted the way they did. You are simply repeating the same behaviour we saw following the referendum - believing your own myths about why people voted to leave and constantly repeating them as if to reassure yourself you must be right. You are still in denial.
It doesn't explain it to a blinkered Brexiteer. It explains it fully to anyone with their eyes wide open.
And the latest poll results? I suppose that they're fake news too.
And you talk about remainers being in denial!
