I was happy to pay more for a thorough examination but was not given the option.

I have a non-O retirement visa and plan to travel to Spain this Saturday. I believe I can leave Thailand once without paying the 1,200 baht for a re-entry permit. Can I just walk through immigration on the way out, and then just turn up at immigration on the way back, and my non-O will be renewed?

A couple of weeks ago I visited the dermatology hospital near Victory Monument for a routine check. The young doctor that I saw asked what I wanted her to look at. Pointing to a spot on my wrist, she checked it and said "Old age", which was OK. She then asked if there was anything else, and I indicated I wanted my whole body checked. I cannot speak Thai and she spoke little English. Either way, she was not prepared to check my whole body, as I assumed she understood what I wanted. I suppose that is what you get for a 200 baht fee. My friend saw another doctor there a few weeks previously and had a full body scan, no problem.
Any suggestions for a dermatologist in Bangkok?

800,000 baht kept in a separate account for immigration.

800,000 baht kept in a separate account with Bangkok Bank.

Tomorrow I will visit Bangkok Bank to get a letter. What does the letter need to say that satisfies immigration for renewal of my non-O?

To renew my non-O visa, I need a letter from Bangkok Bank confirming my bank balance. Since I want to arrive at Government Complex, Chaengwattana as early as possible, what time does the branch open there?

Is there a Muay Thai center in Bangkok where the instructor speaks good English? Currently, I take beginner lessons but the instructor does not speak English. He is good, but a lot of small points are not explained. I live near Lat Phrao.

Hi.
Is there a beekeeping supply store in, or near, Bangkok? Not for honey, but to buy hives and protective clothing.
Thanks

I plan to visit Cambodia and need a Thai reentry permit for my non-O visa. Is there a desk at Don Mueang Airport where I can get a reentry permit, similar to the one at Suvarnabhumi?

I have shares in Australia, dividends from which are taxed at 50%, this makes return on investment poor. I am thinking of cashing in shares and moving money to a country with an expat friendly tax system. Has anybody else found this a problem and what have you done about it?

You could exit without a reentry permit and return visa exempt.
Obtaining new non O at your immigration office
If I exit without a re-entry permit and obtain a new non-O after I arrive, will I need health insurance as I do not need this currently?

I am thinking of traveling overseas between February and July 2024. My non-O retirement visa needs to be renewed in April, is there a way to do this while I am overseas, or do I need to return?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure which Forum to put this in, so here goes. As an Australian I want to leave all my money to my daughters in Australia, my Thai gf has other ideas (suprise). My understanding is that since she has never lived in Australia, she is unable to access any money I have there in super. Also, even if I wrote a will passing all my money in Thailand to my two daughters in Australia, does my gf have any legal claim on money I have here. We have lived together for four years and she is well off even without me. Should I write a will in Thailand or Australia, or both, to ensure my super goes to my children?

Trying to apply for a visa to visit Austria. The VFSGlobal web site keeps providing the message "Invalid logins". I have now registered with three different email addresses, without success. Any suggestions on how to apply for a visa through VFS will be appreciated.

I viisted:
https://www.bmeia.gv.at/th/oeb-bangkok/reisen-nach-oesterreich/einreise-und-aufenthalt/visum/
which I assume may be the Austrian consulate in Bangkok. The requirement for a ticket is:
"Proof of the means of transport (reservation OR booking; presentation of a paid ticket is not required)". If a reservation only lasts maybe 3 days before payment or cancellation, what is the point of providing a reservation number if it takes VFR a few days to look at my gf's application, by which time the reservation will have been canceled?

I want to apply for a Schengen tourist visa for my girl friend to visit Austria. In case the visa is not approved, I do not want to buy a non-refundable air ticket in advance. Any suggestions on how to manage this will be appreciated.
Thanks

Trying to work my way through the Immigration web site. Which form number do I need to apply for a renewal of my Non-O Retirement visa?
Thanks in advance.

The visa stamp is smudged and the writing is not clear. Looking at an old visa, if I leave the country and plan to return, I need to pay 1,000 baht for a reentry permit.
Thanks everyone.
