My gf earns more than me, base salary of 800,000 baht plus extras. I also saw the body after a motor cycle accident.

The regular Ekamai to Pattaya buses do not go through central Chonburi, but use the bypass, and drop off points are usually limited to a few places close to the destination, like Laem Chabang, Rom Poh etc.

    Thanks jacko45k

If you take the bus from Ekkamai, you can take the one to Pattaya, it will go further and out of my experience they have let people off at different locations down the road.

Is there a consensus on this? If I catch an Ekkamai Pataya bus it will let me off nearer Chonburi City Municipal Offices.

The Pattya News says it will be held September 28 to October 4, with the main race on Oct. 1.

But I saw the other dates as well.

Chonburi government FaceBook page says 1st October. That is the only date I have seen.

  5. I plan to catch a bus/van from Ekkamai to Chonburi to attend the Buffalo festival. Looking at the map, the bus station is about 2 km before the location of the event. Does the bus travel along Sukhumvit Rd near Chon Buri Provincial Hall, or is the bus station the nearest location I can travel to?

  6. I rent cycles and go with groups of between 10 and 25 people. The only three places I know that rent cycles are Bang Kachao, Ko Kret, and SkyLane. Are there any other places, near MRT, BTS, or Sonthaew, in the outer suburbs, that rent cycles? Some places like Chatuchak Park also rent cycles but the track is short.

I would start a conversation with India, medifee.com, audiology.

A doctor friend in Australia said that prices in UK are also cheap, his wife goes there to get her HA's. The savings pays for the airfare. I would consider India but travel restrictions are limiting my options. Any suggestions for a good clinic in Bangkok, the Widex store is a long way from the BTS? HA prices must be one big rip off.

My current pair, the Kirkland Signature 9.0 came from Costco in the US.

Kirkland hearing aids get the best reviews, although I assume you bought yours in the US as they need to be programmed for your hearing?

  9. I bought an expensive Widex hearing aid in Australia about 5 years ago. The Bangkok Widex agent says the microphones are broken and need replacing. Unfortunately, the model I bought is not sold in Thailand and they can only offer a substitute microphone, but will not guarantee how long it will work. I could mail them to Australia to be fixed, and then get them mailed back, but mail with COVID could take months. Not sure what to do. I could buy an inexpensive pair to make do, as Consumer Reports say that expensive models are not much better than cheaper models and not worth the money.

  10. Has anybody tried making wine here? There are 3 places in bkk that sell home brewing supplies, my concern is the temperature. Books say that white wine should be made below 70 degrees, while red wine below 76 degrees. 76 degrees is borderline, while 70 degrees would be impossible to achieve for the 12 months it takes to ferment. Has anybody tried this?

  11. I was told today that there are people in Thailand that specialise in designing wats. Each Wat artist has his/her style, and the sponsor of the Wat chooses the artist and gives directions on the design.

    "Am I just another ATM"?

I'd like to ask the audience.

Seems to me she is just after your money. Kids are a problem I agree. My understanding is that because she lived in Australia she can take legal action there to get half of your remaining assets.

  13. Wats are amazing buildings, the craftsmanship that goes into them is awe inspiring. The question I have though is who designs them? Is there a central authority for designing the patterns on the walls? Or is each wat designed as the sponsor sees fit?
